3 College Football Player Props for Week 10

The first College Football Playoff rankings of 2022 have been released. Tennessee has vaulted the rest of the undefeated teams to claim the top spot, joined by Ohio State, Georgia, and Clemson in the playoff positions as of Week 10.

College football fans will not need to wait long for the top of these rankings to change, as the #3 Georgia Bulldogs host the newly-minted #1 Volunteers in a game that could determine who represents the SEC East in the conference title game.

Elsewhere in the SEC, #6 Alabama ventures to Death Valley to face a top-10 LSU team under the lights. You’d have to look all the way back to 2010 to find the last time the Tigers defeated the Tide in Baton Rouge.

Week 9’s batch of player prop best bets fell off to finish 1-2 as Marvin Harrison Jr. feasted against Penn State and Malik Cunningham amassed just over 200 yards passing and rushing. That marked our first losing week in more than a month and brings our record for the last six weeks to 11-4.

Drake Maye, the North Carolina quarterback, came through to cash his passing yard total by airing it out for 388 yards in the Tar Heels’ win over Pitt. Heading into the final month of the regular season, we’re back with another round of player prop bets for Week 10.

DJ Uiagalelei UNDER 186.5 Passing Yards

The Tigers are narrow road underdogs away at Notre Dame and are coming off of two unconvincing victories in a row against Florida State and Syracuse. Uiagalelei has thrown for just 341 combined yards in those two ACC battles.

Uiagalelei faces an Irish defense that’s 36th in the country allowing passing yards to opposing QBs at just over 200 per game. With a low total set at 44, this game projects to be another difficult one for this Clemson team that’s been lucky to keep their record unscathed to this point. This Under looks pretty solid!

Bo Nix OVER 44.5 Rushing Yards

Nix has been a more effective runner of the football in his first year at Oregon than in any of his three seasons in Auburn. With just 60 carries in eight games, Nix has racked up 441 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground for a Ducks team ranked in the top 10.

Over Oregon’s last four games, Nix is averaging 80 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns per game. We see no reason to think Nix slows down against the Buffs.

Colorado allows 237 yards per game to opposing ballcarriers, the second-most in the FBS. Nix and company will expose that vulnerability in a game where the Ducks are favored by more than 30 points.

Jalen Berger UNDER 28.5 Rushing Yards

Michigan State is facing one of its toughest tests of the year in traveling to face Illinois in Week 10. As 16.5-point underdogs, the Spartans will have a difficult time against the best defense in the country.

The Fighting Illini only allows 75 rushing yards a game to opponents. Berger has a ton of talent, but we just don’t see the O-line creating enough running room for him in this game.

Berger’s season has derailed since a strong start in non-conference play, and he will struggle along with the rest of the team against the Fighting Illini’s formidable defense. Play the Under!
