2 NBA Player Props and Predictions for Monday, January 27

With a 12-game NBA slate, post NFL Conference Championship weekend, we had to bring you guys a couple of good good-looking NBA props. As the trade deadline fast approaches and teams are making a push for the playoffs, I expect the stars to stand out!

Of course, with the NBA the two curses are injury reports and blowouts, two things that you can’t predict. And if you wait until news comes out, you lose too much line value. Betting on the NBA is a fickle game, but we are here to continue to stack units on the season!

Franz Is Back!

Franz Wagner has been back with Orlando for two games after missing nearly a month of action. His last game saw his minutes go from 25 to 30, and I expect to see 30+ from here on out in most games. When playing 30+ minutes, he has cashed this line 90% this season, 18 of 20 games.

In his last game with 30 minutes, he reached 11 rebounds and assists. Also, with 30+ minutes, he has cashed 7 straight overall and 15 of the last 16 games.

Now without Jimmy Butler, and the Heat allowing the 5th most rebounds and 10th most assists overall, he should have the ball in his hands a lot! Over his last 10 games, he has averaged 11 potential assists and 9 potential rebounds, giving us a potential of 20 RA/game over his last 10.

Harden With Kawaii Has Been a Money Maker

While I will admit a play like this I usually flag as a possible trap spot, I am going to bite as the spot just seems too good. When a play is + money, and it’s cashed nearly 100% of the time in multiple scenarios, it can certainly be a trap. With this one being right at + money and surely will move to – before game time I like the value!

James Harden has excelled when facing the Phoenix Suns. In 7 straight games dating back to 2021, he has cashed this line. In both games head to head this season, without Kawaii, he has 20 and 23 rebounds and assists. On the flip side, playing with Kawaii this season, he has cashed this line in 6 of their 7 games. Their only miss was the last game against Milwaukee, landing on 14.

In recent games against opposing ball handling guards, Phoenix has allowed Poole(14), Cunningham(17 & 14), Ball(17×2), Haliburton (13 & 16), Curry(12), Murray(12), Westbrook(12). Harden is over this line in 7 of his last 10 overall, and a majority of his recent misses were due to blowouts. Playing with Kawaii, he is over in 12 of his last 17 games, and on the road with Kawaii he is over in 5 of the last 7 games.

My Best Bets (2):

Franz Wagner (ORL) o8.5 RA (-115) Bet365

James Harden (LAC) o14.5 RA (+100) DraftKings
