NFL Futures Predictions: Odds and 2 Season Win Totals for 2025-26

It’s never too early to check out some of the odds for the upcoming NFL season. With free agency, the draft, and minicamps all completed, there are two NFC teams that stand out as sleepers.

The Atlanta Falcons have their QB of the future in Michael Penix Jr. and the weapons around him to compete for the NFC South title against Tampa Bay, Carolina, and New Orleans. Raheem Morris is close to finding something special in the ATL.

Elsewhere, can Arizona finally get over the hump with Kyler Murray? They finally have the defense to do just that.

Atlanta Falcons OVER 7.5 Wins

This is my first NFL article of the new year, so bear with me if you hear this statement multiple times: The Atlanta Falcons are legit. I’m bought in on Raheem Morris, but I’m also all-in on this roster that seems to be shaping up into one of the most complete ones in the NFC.

Michael Penix Jr. lost two overtime games to finish last season but showed signs of life in the three games he started, throwing for 3 touchdowns and rushing for one. With that being said, Atlanta can run the ball with Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier 30 times a game with no issue, alleviating much of the pressure from MPJ’s shoulders.

Atlanta barely missed out on the playoffs last season with an extremely vulnerable Kirk Cousins. With MPJ’s off-season development, the Drake London/Darnell Mooney/Kyle Pitts trio entering their prime, and the defense full of playmakers including Terrell, Jalon Walker, and Jessie Bates – watch out for the ATL.

Arizona Cardinals OVER 8.5 Wins

Arizona had their postseason berth within reach before losing four of their final five games before winning a meaningless Week 18 matchup against San Francisco. With a solid incoming rookie class that will address most of Arizona’s needs and an NFC West that got weaker since the season ended, the Cards could slip into that final wildcard spot in the NFC.

They start their season against the Saints/Panthers/49ers/Seahawks/Titans/Colts. That six game stretch could truly see them favored in at least four games especially facing two rookie Quarterbacks.

Should Marvin Harrison Jr. take a step forward and Murray feel more comfortable outside the pocket, the offense should outperform expectations while Gannon will look for a better defensive season with rookie out of Michigan Will Johnson looking to fill the massive void at corner.
