Best Underdog NBA Player Props for Tuesday, February 13: Gobert Should Torch the Blazers

Happy Tuesday, everyone! The past few days of NBA action have been incredible, and now that the NFL Season is officially over, we’re ready to devote all of our attention to basketball. There are six games on tonight’s slate, which might be an indication to some fans that it’s going to be a tough night for any betting action.

However, we expect most of these games to be close, which means it’ll be a great night to take some player props on Underdog! We’ve studied the board and are excited to give you our four favorite picks from tonight’s action. Let’s begin!

Nic Claxton OVER 12.5 Points

We absolutely love this line for Nic Claxton tonight against the Boston Celtics. He has been a reliable player all season and is an exciting piece of the Brooklyn Nets roster whenever he is on the floor.

He is coming off a 20-point performance against the San Antonio Spurs, which is the type of energy we expect from him tonight. Plus, the Celtics allow nearly 24 PPG to centers this season, meaning that Claxton should have a great chance of eclipsing his 12.5-point projection tonight.

Damien Lillard OVER 24.5 Points

This projection is more about Giannis than it is about Damien Lillard. Giannis is coming off a monster game against the Denver Nuggets, and while he could have back-to-back good games, we’re thinking tonight is going to be a big game for Lillard.

He was mostly shut down by the Nuggets last night, only scoring 18 points. We think he’s going to go off tonight against the Miami Heat, which is why we’re taking the over on his 24.5 projection.

Rudy Gobert OVER 14.5 Points

Rudy Gobert has been on a tear all season. He is a big reason that the Minnesota Timberwolves are the best team in the Western Conference, getting it done on defense and offense alike.

He has scored at least 15 points in his last two games, and with the Timberwolves going up against the struggling Portland Trailblazers tonight, we project him to score early and often, soaring over his total for the evening.

Devin Booker UNDER 29.5 Points

Devin Booker is still one of the best young players in the league, but this projection is a bit too high for our liking. The Sacramento Kings only allow 23 PPG to opposing shooting guards, an indication of how stingy they can be against the position.

We believe tonight is going to be a scoring barrage for Kevin Durant, which is why we’re fading Booker in this spot, especially since his line is so high.
