Best NFL Player Props for Sunday, December 31

Happy New Year in advance to you all! Before 2024 starts, we have one final action-packed Sunday that will be full of fantastic football games. Several of these matchups feature teams that are in the thick of the playoff race, so they have something extra on the line.

With big games come opportunities for some of the league’s best players to shine. We looked at the board and selected our three favorite player props from Underdog on the Sunday slate. Let’s keep the winning train moving after our sweep of Thursday Night Football props. Best of luck!

Tyreek Hill OVER 92.5 Receiving Yards

This is a massive line. For anyone except Tyreek Hill, we recommend taking the under on this total. However, Hill is a special player, and without Jaylen Waddle on the field, Tua Tagovailoa will have to throw the ball to somebody.

The Baltimore Ravens do have one of the NFL’s best defenses, but even they have their flaws. We expect Hill to have a few big catches in this game, easily smashing the over in this spot in a game viewed as a must-win for both teams.

Kenneth Gainwell OVER 21.5 Rushing Yards

We’re not sure why this line is so low for Kenneth Gainwell. Yes, he is a complementary back to D’Andre Swift, but he can hold his own in this offense. If the Philadelphia Eagles jump out to the early lead that we’re anticipating, Gainwell could see a substantial amount of playing time in relief of Swift.

The Eagles will want to kill the clock if they get up early, resulting in many run plays. Don’t be surprised if Gainwell rushes for closer to 40 yards than 21 in this one, which is why we’re confidently taking the over!

Christian McCaffrey OVER 86.5 Rushing Yards

Keep it simple, stupid! That is our mentality when looking at Christian McCaffrey this season. He continues to be a force to be reckoned with in the rushing and receiving game.

The San Francisco 49ers have one of the NFL’s best offenses, and he is a massive part of it. He has only rushed for less than 87 yards in five games this season and at least 90 yards in each of his past five games. Don’t overthink taking the over here!
