Top NBA Player Prop Picks for Friday, March 1: Can Duren Keep His Double-Double Streak Alive?

Ready to start March off with some winners on the hardwood? Check out our top NBA player prop picks for Friday, March 1 right here. Good luck, folks!

This Friday, look for Tyrese Haliburton and Jayson Tatum to continue to dominate as elite scorers, while Buddy Hield should have a bounce-back game against Charlotte.

G Tyrese Haliburton (IND) OVER 0.5 DD

Haliburton’s 34 double-doubles in 46 starts this season is pointing us in this direction on Friday night. The Pacers superstar has hit this mark in two of three games against New Orleans since joining Indiana and with two days of rest, tends to play his best averaging 26 PPG and 11.9 APG in 8 starts.

Against a smaller Pelicans backcourt, look for Hali to distribute at a high rate and get to the bucket with ease. However, with Zion and Jonas down low, kickout opportunities will come throughout this game.

G Buddy Hield (PHI) OVER 13.0 PTS

Without Melton, Hield has averaged over 20 PPG as a Sixer. Look for him to hit the 20-point marker in a game against a depleted Charlotte squad in which Buddy could come out on top as Philly’s top scorer.

With the 6ers dropping three of their first four games post-break, expect Nick Nurse to feed Buddy beyond the arc to get the offense sparked.

C Jalen Duren (DET) OVER 0.5 DD

The Cavaliers just allowed 74 rebounds on Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls. Unfortunately, the big man on tap next is Jalen Duren, who averages 12 boards on the year.

In three starts against Cleveland dating back to his rookie year, the big man has had 9 or more boards in each game while dropping double-digit points in each. Post All-Star break, Duren has had four straight double-doubles.

F Jayson Tatum (BOS) OVER 26.5 PTS

Whether Luka is in or out of this elite Friday matchup between the Celtics and the Mavs, Jayson Tatum’s point prop is the one to target today. Since 2021, Tatum has averaged 30.1 PPG against Dallas, hitting the 27-point mark in five of seven matchups.

In a high-scoring affair with limited paint presence for the Mavs, look for Tatum to drop 30+ in a win as they keep their footing as the 1st seed out East.
