NFL Week 2 Fantasy Guide: Our Top DFS Lineup for Sunday, September 14

Week 2 of the NFL season is right around the corner, and for our DFS lineup, let’s grab two wideouts that had awful Week 1s and trust them to bounce back this week against poor secondaries. As for running backs, Breece Hall is due for another big game against Buffalo.

QB Lamar Jackson ($7,000)

Jackson started the year off with a 3 TD performance in an all-timer against the Bills. He now takes on a Cleveland team at home that he tormented for two massive performances last season with zero turnovers. Expect a bounce-back day for Lamar, who threw just five incompletions this past Sunday night.

RB Breece Hall ($6,200)

He didn’t get much preseason hype, but does Breece Hall still look like a special running back or what? Hall ran for 107 yards on Pittsburgh while playing just 58% of the snaps. After watching Buffalo allow Lamar and Henry to run wild on them last week, Hall should continue the momentum into this next week, and although Fields is a runner himself, he’s actually opened up the field for Hall to create more 1v1 opportunities.

RB Zach Charbonnet ($5,100)

Charbonnet also played 58% of snaps in Week 1, rushing for 47 yards and a score on the 9ers. While Ken Walker is still the RB1 in Seattle, Charbonnet is a great north-to-south runner that works quite well in this Seahawks scheme. Expect him to hang around that 50% mark moving forward and become a goal-line favorite. He scored 9 TDs in 2024 compared to Walker’s 8 TDs.

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown ($7,000)

After a bizarre off week for the entire Lions offense, expect Amon-Ra to get back into the mix against their division rival in Chicago. St. Brown went for 70+ yards in both games against the Bears last season and actually started the year off on the wrong foot as well. In 2024’s Week 1, he went 3/13/0. Next week? 18 targets, 11 catches, 119 yards. Play Amon-Ra this week.

WR Khalil Shakir ($5,500)

Shakir is truly the WR1 in Buffalo, and with the Jets offense really clicking into gear last week, this might be a shootout at MetLife, especially after watching that Buffalo defense last week. Shakir had 9 targets last week, and I expect him to continue to be a force in this offense moving forward.

WR Dyami Brown ($4,200)

The WR3 in this offense, Dyami Brown, has improved each season in the league. While he hasn’t broken out for a true WR3 or WR4 campaign, this year might be different. He played a near career high 71% of snaps in Week 1 while being targeted four times. Against a Cincy defense, expect him to get a handful of deep ball looks.

TE Braxton Strange ($3,600)

He’s the TE1 in this Jacksonville offense against a team that is notoriously awful against the position. With Brown, Chase, and now Strange, we are banking on this game becoming a shootout in Cincinnati, and Strange would benefit from this. He had 59 yards through the air last week and looks like a favorite target for T-Law.

FLX Ja’Marr Chase ($8,100)

The X-factor will bounce back this week. Chase had just 26 yards in Week 1 against Cleveland in a bizarre victory for the Bengals. In games after going for 40 yards or less, Chase has gone for 29.8, 8.1, 26.1, and 12.1 PPR points. A bounce back is incoming for Chase against a poor Jags secondary.
