Iowa State vs. Arizona State: Top Player Props for Big 12 Championship

If you’re a college football fan, this is the most exciting time of year for you. Bowl season is rapidly approaching, and teams are making their final pushes to be one of the first teams in the inaugural 12-team playoff.

Bowl participants will be announced this Sunday, and we will finally find out who will make the big dance, making this weekend one to remember.

Before these participants are announced, there are a lot of important games going on, including all of the major conference championships. We’ve put together our favorite player props from each game, so stay tuned for all of the exciting plays!
First up is the Big 12. Let’s get into our favorite Underdog props for this game between Iowa State and Arizona State!

Sam Leavitt UNDER 202.5 Passing Yards

Sam Leavitt has been solid for Arizona State all season. He’s been consistent throughout the year, only losing one game in the process. When we looked at his passing yardage prop for this game, it initially seemed low, especially since he’s thrown for 203-plus yards in four of his last five games.

However, Iowa State has one of the best defenses against the pass in the country, and he could struggle to get it going in the early stages of this game. With that being said, we’re taking the under on his passing yardage prop here, believing that he’s due for a down game. Look for ASU to try and attack on the ground after limited luck through the air.

Cameron Skattebo OVER 120.5 Rushing Yards

Cameron Skattebo’s rushing prop ties in nicely with the under on Leavitt’s passing yards. Skattebo has been a beast for ASU all season, rushing for at least 121 yards in six games. He’s had 147+ in three of his last four, and considering that Iowa State has a tough time defending the run, Skattebo should have a field day in this one. Don’t be scared to take the over here, even though the line might seem high.

Carson Hansen OVER 37.5 Rushing Yards

When we were looking over the player props for Iowa State, the one that stuck out was Carson Hansen’s rushing yardage line. He has been consistent for the Cyclones throughout the season, and considering he averages 4.9 yards per carry, we feel confident in his ability to hit the over in this spot. ASU might be strong against the run, but if Iowa State gives him as much as we project, this line should be a walk in the park to hit.
