Philadelphia Eagles vs Los Angeles Rams

The 8-2 Eagles are now sitting atop the NFC East and look to be the only real threat to the 9-1 Detroit Lions in the NFC. Wild to think after their 2-2 start and the national media along with the Philly fanbase essentially calling for head coach Sirianni’s head.

They are currently on a six-game win streak since their bye week. The offense is averaging 28.3 ppg over that stretch, which is almost seven points more than what they were averaging in the prior games. Saquon Barkley is likely a candidate for MVP with the way he has been playing, which has taken the pressure off Jalen Hurts.

Hurts accounted for 23 total touchdowns (11 rushing) while throwing just 5 interceptions. The defense is ranked 6th in the league, allowing just 17.9ppg and Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell are forming the best rookie secondary in quite some time.

The Rams have been on a roll since they got their top 2 wideouts back from injury. Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp have helped lift Matthew Stafford and the Rams to win 4 of their last 5 games. In the sole loss, 23-15 to the Dolphins, the Rams struggled offensively.

They were held to just 70 yards on the ground and were only able to convert on 3 of their 12 3rd downs. The offense is going to need better production this Sunday night against the visiting Eagles for them to pick up the home victory.

Best Bet: Eagles -3

While Kupp and Nacua pose arguably the toughest test for this young Eagles secondary, we believe they will once rise to the occasion. The bigger piece is going to be the defensive front, keeping Kyren Williams and the Rams rushing attack from getting them to 3rd and short opportunities.

We like the Eagles to force them into 3rd and longs and to pound the rock with Barkley on the offensive side to a road win. Let’s lay the points!

Key Trends:

  • Los Angeles is 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games against Philadelphia.
  • Los Angeles is 3-10-1 ATS in their last 14 games played in November.
  • Philadelphia is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games.
  • Philadelphia is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games on the road.
