UFC Fight Night Louisville Preview: Our Top Picks for Saturday, June 8

Get ready for UFC Fight Night in Louisville by checking out our betting preview. We’ll dive into our top picks for Saturday, June 8. Good luck, folks!

Main Event Play: Jared Cannonier (+105)

Cannonier takes on Imavov in the main event in what could be a slugfest. Both fighters are strikers by nature and have combined for 15 KO/TKO wins in their 30 combined fights. Cannonier is 4-1 in his last 5 fights with his lone loss coming against Adesanya in his lone title fight.

He has since defeated Sean Strickland and Marvin Vettori who are a combined 48-13-1. Imavov is 3-1 with a no-decision in his last 5 fights. He lost via unanimous decision to Strickland and he snuck out a majority decision over Roman Dolidze in his last fight.

Cannonier has a 2.5-inch reach advantage and should be able to keep Imavov at bay by striking at a distance. Ultimately this is a coin flip but we like Cannonier with his more experience and tougher recent opponents.

Main Card Finish Play: Rosas Jr by SUB (+200)

Rosas Jr bounced back nicely in his last fight after taking a rough loss to Christian Rodriguez. He TKO’d Terrence Mitchell but now faces a much tougher opponent in Ricky Turcios.

Ricky is 4-1 in his last 5 fights with his only loss coming to Aiemann Zahabi via unanimous decision. Both are freestylers but Rosas has a 5:1 takedown ratio while Turcios is 4:13.

We expect Rosas to get some early takedowns and grind things out on the mat. His ability to pick up sneaky submissions should serve him well in those spots. He’s got 5 subs in his 8 career wins and we believe he will add to those numbers here.

Main Card Top Prop: Baeza/Soriano OVER 1.5 Rounds (-130)

Baeza has gone passed this time in 3 of his last 5 fights while Soriano has done the same in 4 of his last 5. Both fighters are averaging over 8 minutes per fight which is well passed the 1.5 rounds we are taking here.

While both of these guys have KO power, they will both likely be defensive early, and on the off chance they come out throwing, they could both gas quickly and make this go longer than the experts think.

Other Leans for all remaining fights

Dominick Reyes (+200)

Dustin Stoltzfus (+225)

Charles Radtke (+185)

Brad Katona by DEC (-150)

Taylor Lapilus (-280)
