Top DFS Value Picks for Week 11
Week 11 brings some massive matchups and tons of DFS value options. With injuries, matchups, and usage trends all playing a role in this week’s picks, there are several players who offer big potential returns on their salary.
We think you’re going to like who we found heading into Week 11.
Player | Opponent | Projected FP | Value |
---|---|---|---|
J. Winston (QB) | NO | 17.3 | 3.15 |
K. Shakir (WR) | KC | 17.1 | 2.71 |
D. Achane (RB) | LV | 20.2 | 2.81 |
D. Allen (TE) | NE | 6.8 | 2.72 |
Jameis Winston — Cleveland Browns — QB
- Salary: $5.5k
- Opponent: New Orleans Saints
- Projected Fantasy Points: 17.3 DK points
- Value: 3.15x
Starting for his 3rd consecutive game in place of Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winston comes in at a value-friendly $5.5k. Honestly, he’s a good pick because he hasn’t played enough to elevate the salary to other QBs.
On top of that, Winston’s performances over the past 2 weeks have been mixed. He’s averaging a solid 284.5 passing yards per game with a 4:3 touchdown-to-interception ratio, which is what we’d like to see him improve. Turnovers can be costly.
He has the big arm and willingness to take risks that can lead to a breakout fantasy day but also carries the downside of turnovers. If you’re willing to accept some risk, that $5.5k salary looks mighty tempting.
This week, Winston faces a New Orleans Saints defense ranked 14th against QBs, making it a middle-of-the-road matchup. The Saints have generally kept QBs in check as they’ve allowed only 2 quarterbacks to top 20 fantasy points against them all season. But Winston’s volume and playmaking ability, especially with a supporting cast that includes Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore, give him a decent shot at hitting some value.
Winston is a high-risk, high-reward QB2 or DFS tournament play. If you’ve got a higher risk appetite, then go for it. His potential to put up 300+ yards and multiple touchdowns makes him a nice option if you want to roll the dice, but understand he’s not the safest cash game play due to his penchant for turnovers which can cost you some FP.
Khalil Shakir — Buffalo Bills — WR
- Salary: $6.3k
- Opponent: Kansas City Chiefs
- Projected Fantasy Points: 17.1 DK points
- Value: 2.71x
Khalil Shakir has quietly become a consistent WR for the Buffalo Bills. With the recent injuries affecting their receiving corps, Shakir is getting more and more looks each week.
Priced at $6.3k, Shakir is facing a Kansas City defense ranked 8th against wide receivers. This might seem tough at first glance, but we have to dig deeper to see the value.
Shakir has shown he can carve out a role in this offense, particularly in the slot where he has emerged as a reliable target for Josh Allen.
Over the past 4 games, Shakir has seen 33 targets, making him a stable and decent floor in PPR formats. Sure, he hasn’t scored since Week 3, but his volume has allowed him to produce solid yardage, averaging around 50 yards per game, and that adds up quickly for the FP.
In a game that could turn into a big shootout, Shakir offers fantasy managers a safe floor with upside if he manages to find the end zone, which he could. He’s shaping up to be a strong WR3/flex play in DFS for managers looking to spend down at receiver.
With Kansas City limiting big plays from strong opponents, Shakir’s role as a safety valve could see him snagging 5-7 catches with a shot at sneaking into the end zone. We wouldn’t bank on that, but the targets, of course.
If you need a budget-friendly receiver, Shakir’s usage and the Bills’ passing volume make him a good choice heading into Week 11 of the NFL season.
De’Von Achane — Miami Dolphins — RB
- Salary: $7.2k
- Opponent: Las Vegas Raiders
- Projected Fantasy Points: 20.2 DK points
- Value: 2.81x
De’Von Achane has been a revelation for the Miami Dolphins this year and we think he’s setting up for another productive week at $7.2k.
Coming off a Week 10 performance where he saw 17 touches, Achane has already proven to be a workhorse for the offense in every healthy game he’s played.
His dual-threat ability on both the ground and in the air makes him not just a stable option, but a dynamic DFS option, especially against a Las Vegas Raiders defense that struggles to stop the ground game. This is where we see him opening it up for DFS lineups.
The Raiders are allowing a staggering 129.9 rushing yards per game, ranking 27th in the league, which we think should open the door for Achane to put up big numbers — and that’s just on the ground.
He’s seen 21 targets over his last three games, which only boosts his value in PPR formats. With the Dolphins’ high-powered offense firing on all cylinders and their emphasis on getting Achane involved in the game script, he has one of the highest ceilings among running backs this week.
Achane’s role and efficiency make him a high-end RB1 candidate with a multi-touchdown upside in this matchup. He could easily walk away with 2+ TDs this week. If you’re into betting, you might even consider him for an anytime touchdown bet.
If he sees another 15+ touches, expect him to be one of the highest-scoring RBs of the slate, especially with the favorable matchup against LV.
Davis Allen — Los Angeles Rams — TE
- Salary: $2.5k
- Opponent: New England Patriots
- Projected Fantasy Points: 6.8 DK points
- Value: 2.72x
For those looking for a low-cost TE, Davis Allen is your man at just $2.5k.
Allen earned a starting role in Week 10 and made the most of it. He caught 5 of 6 targets for 34 yards while playing over 80% of the Rams’ offensive snaps. That’s not a bad start and he definitely made a statement.
With Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua drawing most of the defensive attention, Allen could see regular underneath targets as a quick outlet. We would love to see him get the yards after the catch-up, but we’ll take the targets for this safe bet.
The Rams take on the New England Patriots, who rank 15th in pass defense and have allowed an average of 209 passing yards per game. We’ll admit that that doesn’t scream a huge volume game for Allen, but his cheap price and decent involvement in the game script make him a nice punt play at tight end.
Allen’s ceiling may be capped in this offense, but his recent workload tells us he could offer enough to justify his minimal salary in DFS lineups.
If you’re stacking up on higher-priced options in other positions, Allen provides a bit of salary relief without sacrificing too much opportunity — and that’s what we’re all after.
A few catches and maybe a red-zone target could make him a surprisingly effective choice in Week 11 and separate your lineup from the rest.
Get Your Lineups Ready for Week 11
Each of these players offers a unique blend of value, opportunity, and matchup advantages. Those factors can help DFS managers create balanced lineups for Week 11.
Whether you’re aiming for a stable option like Shakir, the high ceiling of Achane, a budget-friendly TE with Allen, or a risk-taking Winston at QB, these players could each provide some bang for your buck.
