Top DFS Value Picks for NFL Week 6
It’s Week 6, and we’ve got some exciting DFS value picks that can give your lineups the edge over the competition.
With these value picks each week, our focus is on players with the potential to overdeliver based on their salaries, helping you squeeze the most fantasy points from every dollar. You might want to add these players to your lineup.
Jalen Hurts — PHI — QB
- Salary: $7.2k
- Projected Fantasy Points: 23.2
- Matchup: Cleveland Browns
- Value: 3.22
Despite a rough start to the season, Jalen Hurts remains one of the top DFS quarterbacks heading into Week 6.
Hurts has struggled a bit, throwing as many interceptions as touchdowns (four each, it’s like watching Brett Favre play again!), but his fantasy potential is still very high due to his rushing ability. Hurts has almost always provided rushing production, which boosts his floor even in games where the passing game falters, which seems to be fairly frequent.
The Browns have allowed just 184.4 passing yards per game, making this a tough matchup, but Hurts‘ rushing ability gives him a clear edge for the points.
On top of that, his value will increase if A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith return to full health after the Eagles’ bye week.
At $7.2k, Hurts offers a massive upside with his dual-threat capabilities, making him a reliable pick in what could be a competitive game against Cleveland.
Bijan Robinson — ATL — RB
- Salary: $6.6k
- Projected Fantasy Points: 18.2
- Matchup: Carolina Panthers
- Value: 2.76
Bijan Robinson is heading into Week 6 with a chance to exploit the Panthers’ league-worst run defense. This is his chance to really shine — as if he hasn’t already.
Carolina has given up a league-high nine rushing touchdowns to running backs, and Robinson should be able to capitalize on that.
While his usage was surprisingly low in Week 5 (only 12 carries), the game script should favor him more this week as Atlanta is expected to take the lead and control the clock with the ground game.
Robinson is already a key part of the Falcons’ offense, but a favorable matchup like this boosts his upside even further. With the Panthers allowing the 31st most fantasy points to running backs, you can expect Robinson to get back on track with a heavy workload and plenty of opportunities to rack up fantasy points. Don’t pass up this back if you can get him!
Josh Downs — IND — WR
- Salary: $5.5k
- Projected Fantasy Points: 14.2
- Matchup: Tennessee Titans
- Value: 2.58
Josh Downs has quietly become a solid DFS pick.
In the Colts’ last two games, he’s hauled in 17 of 21 targets for 151 yards and a touchdown, showing great chemistry with Joe Flacco. Heading into Week 6, Downs has an opportunity to continue that momentum against a Titans defense that ranks first in fewest passing yards allowed.
While the matchup isn’t favorable on paper, with top Titans corner L’Jarius Sneed likely focusing on Michael Pittman, we think Downs could see plenty of targets. His role in the offense is expanding, and as a result, he offers a solid fantasy WR3 option at a very affordable price.
Jake Ferguson — DAL — TE
- Salary: $5.0k
- Projection: 14.2 DK FP
- Matchup: Detroit Lions
- Value: 2.84
Jake Ferguson has been a consistent target for the Cowboys, making him an easy addition to your lineup. We’re pretty confident that his ownership percentage will be pretty low too.
Over the last three weeks, Ferguson has seen 25 targets, resulting in 19 catches and 214 yards. That’s excellent usage for a tight end in this price range.
However, he’s still chasing his first touchdown of the season, which could be a game-changer for his value if he finds the end zone.
Facing the Lions’ pass defense, which has allowed 258.3 passing yards per game (27th in the NFL), Ferguson has a favorable matchup, though Detroit has only given up four passing touchdowns this season.
Ferguson’s solid floor and continued role in the offense make him a great choice for those looking to save salary while maintaining a chance for double-digit points.
Add These DFS Value Picks To Your Week 6 Lineup!
DFS value picks are all about finding affordable players who can outperform their salary. This week’s lineup delivers just that.
Jake Ferguson offers reliable targets in a solid matchup against Detroit, while Bijan Robinson has an excellent opportunity to exploit a weak Panthers defense. Josh Downs may have a tough opponent in the Titans, but his expanding role in the Colts’ offense makes him an intriguing play. Finally, Jalen Hurts gives you a high upside with his ability to produce fantasy points both in the air and on the ground.
These value picks provide a balanced combination of affordability and upside, giving you the flexibility to fill out your DFS roster with top-tier players while still staying under the salary cap.
