Texans at Ravens Betting Guide: Live Odds, Best Bets, & Player Props: Can Stroud Pull Off Another Upset?

Texans at Ravens- Live Odds, Best Bets, & Player Props

And then there were eight! Eight teams remain in the NFL playoffs, each with varying chances to win the Super Bowl. We are excited about this weekend’s matchup between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens.

There are a lot of narratives coming into this game, so it will be interesting to see how it all plays out! Let’s take a look at the live odds for this game, identify the best bests, and put together our favorite player props in this one.

Live Odds for Houston at Baltimore

With slightly more than 24 hours before kickoff, the Ravens are 9.5-point favorites over the Texans. This line has remained steady throughout the week, indicating that oddsmakers are incredibly confident in the Ravens to win this game.

To go along with that, the current over/under is 43.5, a surprising total. While both teams have strong defenses, we expect their offenses to take over and make a monumental impact.

We expected this line to be closer to 46 or 47, and while we’re not picking a side for the spread, we are hammering the over in this spot.

Both teams Score TD in Each Half (+205, FanDuel)

This bet goes hand-in-hand with our prediction of this game hitting the over. When given the opportunity, both of these teams can score at will.

.Lamar Jackson is the front-runner for league MVP, and C.J. Stroud is the odds-on favorite for the Offensive Rookie of the Year. With this in mind, we expect an onslaught of scoring, and with +205 odds from FanDuel, we’re more than confident in this pick.

Stroud & Jackson Throw for 500+ Combined Yards (+160, FanDuel)

Stroud averaged 273 passing yards per game in the regular season, and Jackson averaged 229. This line might seem too good to be true, but it goes along with our prediction for this game.

The playoffs are a lose-or-go-home scenario, so we expect these elite quarterbacks to give it their all. At plus money on this one, we’re taking the over of 500 total passing yards.

Zay Flowers OVER 48.5 Receiving Yards

This number seems low to us. Zay Flowers has been an incredible piece to the Ravens offense in his rookie season, a big reason why Jackson has been so successful this year.

He was instrumental after Mark Andrews fell to injury, and while Andrews might return to the field in this game, we still anticipate Flowers to have more than 50 receiving yards.

He can break for a 40+ yard play at any moment, and we think that’s a likely outcome in this game, especially against the Texans’ secondary.

Dalton Schultz OVER 3.5 Receptions

Dalton Schultz has been a great safety blanket for Stroud in his first NFL season. Even though Stroud might be viewed as having the strongest connection with Nico Collins, Schultz still has a well-defined role in this offense.

If Stroud gets in trouble, look for him to dump the ball off to Schultz, resulting in a few critical receptions. We anticipate him getting closer to six catches in this game, making the over on 3.5 an easy play.
