NBA Playoffs Betting Preview: 3 Player Props for Tuesday, April 29

First Round NBA Playoffs action continues tonight with three teams trying to wrap their respective series up at home. Will this be the final time we see Giannis put on a Bucks jersey?

Can Detroit fight off the Game 3 and 4 demons and finally win a close one against New York? Can the injured Celtics put away the feisty Paolo-led Magic? Plenty of questions will be answered in tonight’s action, but all eyes will be on Indiana for a potential final farewell.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL) OVER 33.5 Points

This could be the Greek Freak’s last game in a Milwaukee Bucks jersey. Let that sink in. Since the Bucks won four straight games to defeat the Phoenix Suns for the 2021 title, this squad hasn’t made it past the Eastern Conference Semis.

With Damian Lillard’s 2025-26 season in jeopardy, all signs point to Giannis’s unbelievable journey in this small market is going to come to a close. Because of this, expect an all-out effort from the big man who has gone for 36/34/37/28 points in this series. Indiana will let Giannis beat them as long as the other guys don’t pitch in.

Dennis Schroder (DET) OVER 3.5 Assists

The Pistons are just -4 in point differential when Schroder is on the court this series. It’s been tight between New York and Detroit, with the last two games decided by one possession on some extremely close calls.

With Beasley and Hardaway going cold from beyond the arc at moments in this series, the veteran guard has come up big, scoring 13 PPG against the Knicks while wreaking some havoc defensively.

With Brunson and Thibs now respecting Dennis from downtown and as a defender, expect some more playmaking opportunities to open up for the vet while Beasley, Harris, and/or Hardaway should finally find their stroke tonight. If not, goodnight, Detroit.

Andrew Nembhard (IND) OVER 19.5 PRA

This PRA number is quite shocking. With Damian Lillard out and the Pacers favored at home, I like Nembhard’s chances to make an early impact. The young guard is an elite playoff performer, averaging 14.9 PPG and 5.3 APG in 21 career postseason games.

Hitting this mark in three of four games, expect Nembhard to come out hot early. His first half PRAs this series? 20/11/3/11. This is the best bet of the night for a guy Carlisle is due to play 30+ minutes in this win and advance to the Cleveland scenario.
