Green Bay at San Francisco Betting Guide: Can the Niners Slow Down Jordan Love?

Green Bay at San Francisco Betting Guide Can the Niners Slow Down Jordan Love

The Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers are slated to match up this weekend in what should be a great game. Both teams enter this game with a lot of momentum, which could result in a match for the ages.

The 49ers have historically dominated the Packers in the playoffs, but anything is possible with this new-look Packers team! We will look at the live odds, best bets, and our favorite player props from this game. Let’s get into it, and of course, best of luck!

Live Odds for Packers at Niners

The 49ers are favored by 9.5 points; the same spread sportsbooks have for the Texans-Ravens game. This is a potential indication that they think the 49ers will blow the Packers out of the water, but as evidenced by the Cowboys’ 7.5-point spread against them last week, anything can happen. While the 49ers are still a great team, we slightly lean towards the Packers in this one.

The over/under is currently set at 50.5 points, which, on paper, seems like a lot. However, the Packers put up 48 on the Cowboys last week, who were said to have one of the NFL’s best defenses.

The 49ers are an entirely different beast, but if the Packers score early, this could turn into a shootout. We’re also leaning towards the over on this high point total.

Green Bay Packers to Score in all 4 Quarters (+320, FanDuel)

We were surprised to see how much juice this bet has on it. The Packers’ offense has come alive recently, a surprising result for many fans and analysts across the league.

They seem to have no problems getting into opposing territory and scoring when having the opportunity. We like the Packers’ chances of getting at least a field goal every quarter, which is why we’re taking this bet.

Christian McCaffrey 50+ Rushing Yards in Each Half (+460, FanDuel)

The Packers have one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL, and Christian McCaffrey continues to be one of the best running backs in the league. Are we missing something?

At +460 we love this line, as we project McCaffrey to end the game with over 100 rushing yards. Look for him to break off at least one monster rush in each half, hopefully hitting this line quickly.

Top Player Props for Packers at Niners

Aaron Jones OVER 16.5 Rushing Attempts

With A.J. Dillon slated to be out again this week, this seems like a can’t-miss play for Aaron Jones. Jones remains one of the most valuable players in the Packers’ offense.

We anticipate him to have another great night against the 49ers, rushing early and often to help open up the passing game.

Brock Purdy UNDER 30.5 Passing Attempts

Brock Purdy has only attempted more than 31 passes in two games this season. One instance was against the Baltimore Ravens, and the other was against the New York Giants.

With Christian McCaffrey as an option in this offense, there’s no reason for Purdy to attempt many passes, especially since we anticipate McCaffrey to have a big day on the ground. Look for Purdy to throw closer to 25 times, hopefully hitting the under with ease.
