Four Best NBA Player Props for Tuesday, March 12: Can the Clippers Contain Gobert?

Four Best NBA Player Props for Tuesday, March 12

With playoffs less than six weeks away, the NBA schedule is crammed full of exciting basketball games with playoff implications on the line. Games featuring some of the Eastern and Western conferences’ best teams squaring off highlight Tuesday’s action.

What NBA players will have the most impact on their team’s Tuesday night matchups? We reveal our top four NBA player prop bets for the TNT primetime matchups featuring the Philadelphia 76ers (36-28) against the New York Knicks (37-27) and the Minnesota Timberwolves (44-21) taking on the Los Angeles Clippers (41-22).

Jalen Brunson OVER 27.5 Points (-133 at BetMGM)

As the Knicks play their final game against Atlantic Division rival Philadelphia on Tuesday, New York will lean on Jalen Brunson to pull out a win and maintain home-court advantage over the 76ers in a potential NBA playoff rematch.

In three games against the 76ers this year, Brunson has eclipsed the 27.5 mark needed to cover this player prop bet once. In the two teams’ most recent contest Sunday, Philadelphia held Brunson to 19 points in a 79-73 victory over New York, the lowest point total for the Knicks this season. Expect New York – and Brunson – to rebound Tuesday against Philadelphia.

Kawhi Leonard UNDER 1.5 3-Point Field Goals (+130 at BetRivers)

Clinging to a fourth-place ranking, the Los Angeles Clippers need to continue their winning ways Tuesday night against Minnesota. Los Angeles has won four of its past five games as the Clippers continue to rely on Kawhi Leonard to lead their team.

While Leonard continues to play at an all-star level, the 13-year veteran has hit a deep shooting slump recently. In March, Leonard had only two games where the guard made more than one three-point field goal in a contest.

Going back further, Leonard has only exceeded the 1.5 3-point field goal mark in four of his team’s past 12 outings. Expect the Clippers’ captain to continue attacking the basket instead of shooting three-point field goals to avoid covering this player prop bet.

Tobias Harris OVER 6.5 Rebounds (-110 at FanDuel)

Without Joel Embiid, Philadelphia has looked to veteran forward Tobias Harris for an inside presence. The 13-year player has responded in March, posting three double-doubles in his team’s six games.

In Sunday’s victory over New York – Tuesday’s opponent – Harris notched 11 points and 12 rebounds for the 76ers. Expect a similar effort tonight as Harris will easily surpass the 6.5 rebounds needed to successfully cover this player prop bet.

Rudy Gobert UNDER 32.5 Pts + Reb + Ast (-114 at Caesars)

Rudy Gobert has been a dominant force for Minnesota this season, averaging 13.8 points and 12.9 rebounds per outing. The 7’ 1” veteran has recorded double-figure rebounds in 14 of his team’s last 15 outings, and the center has scored double-digit totals in 19 of the past 21 outings.

While Gobert is typically a force to be reckoned with, his statistics decline against the Los Angeles Clippers. In three games this season, Gobert has been held under his season averages in two contests. Expect a similar fate for Gobert Tuesday in these teams’ fourth and final regular-season meeting.
