College Football Week 4 Player Prop Picks

With the college football season entering Week 4, the betting board is starting to shift more toward conference play. The Big Ten’s headliners this week include Wisconsin at Ohio State and Minnesota at Michigan State, while the SEC slate features a marquee game between 11th-ranked Tennessee and SEC East rival #20 Florida in Knoxville.

If you’re looking for some plays outside of the spreads and totals in this Saturday’s college football action, we’ve got another round of player props lined up for Week 4. All of these can be found at DraftKings.

Taulia Tagovailoa OVER 273.5 Passing Yards

Michigan’s cupcake schedule has seen them steamroll Colorado State, Hawaii, and UConn at home while rushing for 231 yards and five touchdowns per game. Their first Big Ten conference game this season will be their fourth straight at home in 2022.

The Maryland Terrapins enter this game as more than two touchdown underdogs, and will likely play from behind for most of this game. Tagovailoa will throw at least 40 passes and we see this as a volume-based, potential garbage-time play where the Terps continue to heave the ball down the field to stay within the spread.

Marvin Mims UNDER 81.5 Receiving Yards

Mims was held to 66 yards receiving last week in Oklahoma’s thrashing of Nebraska, and this week’s matchup should prove to be tougher for the entire Oklahoma offense. Kansas State has beaten the Sooners two out of the last three years.

Mims has caught nine passes for 102 yards in two previous games against the Wildcats, and K State has allowed just 443 yards passing in their first three games this season. Mims is the focal point of the Sooners’ passing game, but a Wildcats team that has played the Sooners tough under coach Chris Kleiman should be able to hold him under 80 yards receiving in Norman.

Mohamed Ibrahim OVER 127.5 Rushing Yards

Ibrahim, who sustained a season-ending injury in Minnesota’s Week 1 loss to Ohio State last September, looks like he hasn’t missed a beat in 2022. Dating back to Minnesota’s 2020 Outback Bowl victory, Ibrahim has 12 straight 100-yard rushing performances. He’s averaging 26.5 carries and 153.6 yards per game in that streak and Michigan State is fresh off a devastating loss and cross-country road trip to Washington.

The Spartans allowed more than 130 yards rushing in five games last season and did so again against Western Michigan in their 2022 season opener. Ibrahim, who will be playing on Sundays next year, should add to his streak again in East Lansing.

Prop Parlay: Blake Corum & Nicholas Singleton to Each Score a Rushing TD

Both backs have scored in each of their last two games and enter their Week 4 contests with just 64 carries combined. Singleton has amassed 303 yards rushing and four touchdowns on the ground in Penn State’s last two games. The Nittany Lions will host Central Michigan in Week 4 to finish their non-conference schedule for 2022.

Both Michigan and Penn State are heavy home favorites this weekend and will run the ball more than they throw if the trend from the first three weeks continues. Both teams’ leading rushers should find the end zone in Week 4.
