Bucks at Grizzlies Betting Guide: Top NBA Player Props and Our Best Bet for February 15

JJJ Prop Picks for NBA

The last primetime matchup before the NBA All Star break will feature the Milwaukee Bucks (35-20) traveling to Tennessee to face the Memphis Grizzlies (18-36) Thursday at 8:30 pm on TNT.

The Bucks are currently second in the Central Division and third overall in the Eastern Conference. However, the Bucks have lost four of their last six contests, falling to a trio of Western Conference foes as well as Miami on Tuesday.

The Grizzlies are in fourth place in the Southwest Division and 13th in the Western Conference standings. Memphis fell out of the playoff hunt with their current nine-game losing streak that dates back to mid-January.

With both teams desperate for a win before the NBA All Star break, which team will prevail in this East versus West matchup? We’ll reveal our top player prop bets for this game as well as our best bet overall below.

Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 29.5 Points (-111 at FanDuel)

When the Bucks need a bucket, Milwaukee will turn to its seven-time NBA All Star – and the captain of one of this year’s teams this weekend – in Giannis Antetokounmpo. The forward is averaging 30.7 points, 11.4 rebounds and 6.3 assists this season, averages that rank in the top 20 in each category.

To maintain momentum, the Bucks must take care of business against the Grizzlies. Expect Antetokounmpo to rev up his performance for the TNT primetime game and score at least 30.5 points to successfully cover this player prop bet.

Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 5.5 Rebounds (+108 at FanDuel)

With Grizzlies’ star Ja Morant out for the season, Memphis has turned to forward Jaren Jackson Jr. to lead the team. The sixth-year veteran has responded, averaging a team-best 22.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per outing.

Milwaukee is a strong offensive team, hitting nearly 50% of their shots through their 55 games this season. Rebounding is not one of their strong suits, however. Expect Jackson to snap out of his current rebounding snide and cover this player prop bet.

Damian Lillard UNDER 2.5 3-Point Field Goals (+130 at Bet365)

To compete in the Eastern Conference, Milwaukee acquired Damian Lillard from Portland during the offseason. Lillard has performed admirably in his first season as a Buck, scoring 24.6 points per outing and averaging 6.7 rebounds each night.

While his statistics are hovering around his career averages, one area Lillard’s regressed has been his three-point shooting. Through 50 games, Lillard has connected on 34.4% of his three-point shots. And a recent slump should give bettors confidence that the Bucks’ star guard will fail to cover his 2.5 three-point shots made player prop bet Thursday night.

Best Bet: Memphis (+11.5)

Although every bettor should expect Memphis to lose this game, the Grizzlies are scratching and clawing through their contests this season. While Milwaukee is a stronger team, expect Memphis to keep this game close throughout at home and cover their 10.5-point spread Thursday.
