Bills at Jets Preview: Same Game Parlay for Monday Night Football

The new-look New York Jets look to get back into the win column against the Buffalo Bills who are looking for a win themselves after dropping two straight.

Josh Allen is our anytime touchdown scorer, while Aaron Rodgers should struggle to find the end zone against a Bills defense that will be ready for this divisional matchup.

SGP: 3 Picks (+675):

Josh Allen Anytime TD Scorer

Bills running back James Cook has only scored once against the New York Jets in four career appearances against the divisional foe and without practicing on Friday or Saturday, there’s reason to believe he will get fewer touches than his average day at the office.

With this being in mind, Josh Allen should be at the top of your list for anytime TD scorers in this game. Although he hasn’t had a rush TD against New York since 2022, Allen has scored six total rush TDs in 11 games against New York.

With the Jets changing up their coaching staff over the last week, expect their red zone defense to be a bit softer than normal as Allen should be able to punch one in.

Braelon Allen Over 1.5 Receptions

Braelon Allen has become one of Rodgers’ top playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. With Breece Hall limited in production over the last few weeks, Allen has stepped up as a rookie averaging nearly 4.5 YPC this season so far.

Against a physical Bills defense that could put Rodgers on the ground, look for AR to utilize his running backs in the receiving game with dump downs and screen passes.

Although Allen has gone two for five on this prop this season, his last two games of one catch each for 10+ yards should give the Jets offense reason to use him more in the passing attack.

Aaron Rodgers Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

With the Bills allowing just over 1 TD per game through the air, Aaron Rodgers might struggle to find the end zone multiple times against this defense in what looks to be a lower scoring affair.

Rodgers scored two touchdowns on a somewhat bizarre game script against Minnesota last week in London where he threw the ball 54 times. Looking at this matchup, Buffalo could be prone to short gains by Rodgers as he utilizes his running back duo plus Garrett Wilson’s short to medium yard route running skills.

However, deep balls and easy passing touchdowns will come at a minimum for Aaron as the Bills defense should take advantage of this Jets team in a tough spot.
