Top 4 NBA Player Props for Tuesday, March 25

Tanking is a real problem in the NBA this time of year. Teams that have little to no shot at making the playoffs are finding creative ways to manage their roster, ensuring unproven rookies are finishing games instead of attempting to win the contest.

That’s a real problem when it comes to betting, too. Placing a wager on a team or player that’s angling for a top lottery pick is risky. We’ll avoid those today as we offer bettors our top four NBA player prop bets for Tuesday, March 25.

Miami Heat PG Tyler Herro OVER 2.5 3-Point Field Goals Made

Both Golden State and Miami would qualify for NBA postseason play if the season ended tomorrow and are reasonably safe bets to make the postseason. Miami has a chance to host one of the play-in games as the Chicago Bulls are just 1.5 games ahead of them for the ninth seed.

To make that run, Miami needs Tyler Herro hitting from behind the arc. The 6-foot-5 guard has struggled over the past two months, hitting less than 30 percent of his deep-range shots. He’s also only covered this player prop bet four times in his past 11 home games.

So why should bettors expect his luck to change against Golden State? He’s hit this mark against the Warriors every time over the past two years. You have to go back to November 2022 to find a game against these Western Conference foes where he hasn’t finished with at least three trifectas.

Atlanta Hawks PG Trae Young UNDER 25.5 Points

Atlanta is another team firmly stuck in the play-in postseason games as the Hawks trail the sixth-seed Detroit Pistons by more than five games. Their lead over the Orlando Magic, however, is just 1.5 games, giving the Hawks more than enough reasons to put their best product on the court.

They’ll do so tonight against the Houston Rockets, the second seed in the Western Conference race. Atlanta needs a strong effort from Trae Young to win this road contest, but it’s hard to imagine he’ll have a good game.

He’s probable for tonight’s contest despite dealing with Achilles tendinitis. Still, bettors should be wary of Young on Tuesday because Houston has held him to 21 points or less in their previous two outings. Expect him to fall short of this player prop bet total in a Hawks’ loss.

Sacramento Kings PF Domantas Sabonis UNDER 11.5 Rebounds

The Kings are locked into a three-way race for the final two play-in spots this year, currently sitting ahead of both the Suns and Mavericks by having one fewer loss. Sacramento is taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Western Conference’s runaway leader this season.

Power forward Domantas Sabonis is the go-to stats guy for this team. He’s leading the league in rebounds at 13.9 per outing, but he’s struggled against the Thunder to reach anything near his average. In both games, he’s finished below 11 boards. Expect him to again fail to reach the 12-rebound plateau to cover this player prop bet.

Cleveland Cavaliers PF Evan Mobley OVER 32.5 Pts + Reb + Ast

Cleveland’s Western Conference road swing hasn’t been kind to the Cavaliers. Tonight, they’ll face the Trailblazers, a team only three games out of 10th place. Portland has struggled this season, but the team is 20-17 at home this year, including a recent four-game winning streak that included a win over Denver.

The Cavs are looking to finish this road trip on a high note after snapping a four-game losing streak on Sunday against Utah. They’ll need first-time All-Star Evan Mobley to step up against 7-foot-2 rookie center Donovan Clingan on Tuesday.

Bettors should expect Mobley to continue his solid play tonight, and he’s recorded at least 33 combined points, rebounds, and assists in four out of the past six games. Take the over on this player prop bet.
