Top Four NBA Player Prop Bets for Wednesday, February 12

Top Four NBA Player Prop Bets for Wednesday, February 12

With only two days remaining on the NBA schedule before the annual All-Star break, every franchise will be in action on Wednesday. The featured matchup is the last game on tonight’s slate as the Memphis Grizzlies head to Los Angeles to face the Clippers.

Beyond this matchup, what other games – and specifically, players – should bettors watch on Wednesday, February 12? We’ll cover our top four player prop bets from tonight’s NBA action below.

Milwaukee Bucks F Bobby Portis OVER 9.5 Rebounds

The Milwaukee Bucks are holding onto the fifth spot in the Eastern Conference as superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo remains sidelined before the All-Star break. They’ll try to win their third game – and final matchup before the break – against the seventh-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.

Without Antetokounmpo, the Bucks have relied on Bobby Portis to handle the bulk of their rebounding duties. He’s averaging 13.0 rebounds per game in his team’s past four outings, netting 13 or more boards in three of those contests. Expect the 6-foot-10 veteran to do the same tonight, covering his rebounding prop bet.

Oklahoma City Thunder G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander UNDER 42.5 Pts + Reb + Ast

The Oklahoma City Thunder will head into the break with the best record in the Western Conference regardless of tonight’s outcome against the Miami Heat. That’s due to the outstanding play of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is leading the NBA with 32.6 points per outing.

In his first matchup against the Heat, SGA finished with 25 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. That December 20th contest did not feature Jimmy Butler, the one-time Miami star who is now with the Golden State Warriors.

The Heat are continuing to struggle this season without Butler, dropping three of their past four games. Another loss tonight is likely, and Gilgeous-Alexander isn’t needed to carry a large load. Expect the player to fall short of the 42.5-mark for combined points, rebounds, and assists.

Los Angeles Lakers G Luka Doncic UNDER 23.5 Points

On Monday, Luka Doncic made his debut for the Lakers against the Utah Jazz – the same opponent the team will face tonight. Doncic finished the game with 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists, all figures well below his season average.

It was Doncic’s first action since Christmas Day with the Mavericks as he made his return from a calf injury. He’s expected to be limited yet again on Wednesday, especially with the All-Star break next week. Expect him to fall short of this points prop bet tonight against the Jazz.

Memphis Grizzlies F Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 1.5 3-Point Field Goals

Surprisingly, the Memphis Grizzlies are second in the Western Conference after winning 11 of their past 13 games. Their only losses during that stretch came to Oklahoma City and the New York Knicks on the road.

Tonight, they’ll face the Los Angeles Clippers, a franchise that is currently sixth in the conference. Los Angeles snapped a three-game losing streak on Saturday, defeating the Utah Jazz by 20 points.

The Clippers will be hard-pressed to the do same to Memphis or their 6-foot-10 star Jaren Jackson Jr. The power forward had an abysmal shooting night in their first matchup, going 1-of-7 from deep. Expect him to do better on Wednesday despite being on the road, finishing this game with at least two trifectas to cover this player prop bet.
