5 PrizePicks NBA Props for Thursday, February 16

Tonight is the last night of official NBA action until next Thursday. The All-Star Game is on Sunday, with other festivities taking place over the next several days.

However, there are still three games on the slate tonight, and we’re excited to give you our favorite PrizePicks plays! We went 3/5 last night, so we’ll look to bounce back in a big way for tonight’s three games.

Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 34 Points

Giannis remains one of the league’s best players. During the month of February alone, he is averaging 37 points per game, and his lowest-scoring game of the month was a 24-point affair against the Trailblazers.

Tonight, the Bucks are playing the Bulls, a team that Giannis has done well against as of late. In his two games against them this season, he has scored 36 and 45 points.

While he is likely to have an off-night at some point, we’re not predicting that tonight, which is why we recommend the over on his point total.

Anthony Edwards OVER 3.5 Free Throws Made

Anthony Edwards has been one of the NBA’s most exciting players this year. He’s averaging his most career points, assists, and rebounds this year, and his game keeps growing at a rapid rate.

In the last month, his free throw percentage is 82.4%, heading to the free throw line at least five times in five of his last seven games. With that in mind, we like Edwards’ chances to heavily attack the rim tonight, resulting in several free throw attempts.

If he’s at the line, he’s likely to make his free throws, which is why we recommend taking the over on 3.5 tonight.

Deandre Ayton UNDER 11.5 Rebounds

Deandre Ayton is one of the league’s best rebounders. Currently, he’s the league’s ninth leading rebounder, with 10.2 RPG.

With that in mind, however, he has had a difficult time eclipsing the 12 rebound mark as of late. In the month of February, he has just two games with 12 or more rebounds and six games with less than 12.

Despite Ayton’s success on the boards, we like his chances of hitting the under tonight against the Clippers.

Jaden McDaniels UNDER 17.5 Pts, Rebs & Asts

Jaden McDaniels is a solid contributor for the Minnesota Timberwolves. However, his impact on the team isn’t always felt on the stat sheet, as he is much more of a defensive force than a scorer or rebounder.

In order for McDaniels to hit the over on 17.5 PRA, he will likely need to score 10 or more points, something he has only done three times in his last seven games.

We’re expecting a quiet night from McDaniels, which is why we recommend the under on his PRA.

Kyle Kuzma UNDER 2.5 Made Three-Pointers

Kyle Kuzma has struggled from three in his last several games. While he is coming off a performance in which he made six threes’, his prior track record is not positive.

He was 0-1 and 0-5 in his two prior performances and has only eclipsed three makes in two of his last seven games.

Kuzma and the Wizards are facing off against the Timberwolves tonight, and we’re not expecting a strong three-point performance from him, taking the under.
