4 NBA Player Props for Wednesday, November 6: Will Holmgren Dominate Denver?
Our best bets this Wednesday night after a one-day NBA hiatus include Chet Holmgren continuing to stump Jokic and the Nuggets with his elite outside shooting while Mikal Bridges should finally break out of his offensive shell against Atlanta.
C Chet Holmgren (OKC) OVER 16.5 Points
Since coming into the league, Holmgren has played extremely well offensively against Jokic and the Nuggets, pouring in 20.6 PPG on efficient 58/42 shooting splits in five games.
Looking forward to this matchup, Holmgren will look to play his first 30-minute game in two weeks as the Thunder have blown out their last three opponents.
In a big early season tester for the #1 seeded Thunder, expect Chet to outperform his point prop with the ability to go for 25+ in this one.
G Norman Powell (LAC) OVER 20.5 Points
Norman Powell has played outstanding as he fills in for the non-existent Kawhi Leonard. Powell has scored a career high 24.9 PPG so far in seven games while shooting 8 of 14 from beyond the arc this month.
Look for Powell to continue his hot play against a smaller 76ers backcourt that have allowed 116 PPG thus far.
G Jalen Suggs (ORL) OVER 29.5 PRA
One benefactor of the Paolo Banchero injury will be and has been Jalen Suggs. The guard, who just locked up his long-term extension before the season began, is a nightmare matchup for Indiana’s backcourt with his size and speed on both ends.
If Suggs could get 30 PR with Paolo Banchero dropping 50 points on Indiana last time they matched up, I’m not sweating this PRA mark especially as he’s hit this mark in four of the last six outings.
F Mikal Bridges (NYK) OVER 16.5 Points
We have a Knick ready to take over an away game this Wednesday night in Mikal Bridges. Bridges has been sustainably mediocre offensively thus far for New York, who come in with a 3-3 record.
With that being said, Mikal has had the Hawks number in their last 9 matchups since 2021, going for 28 PPG against the squad in those outings. With a defensive unit allowing 122 PPG to opposing teams, this is the game Mikal should become one of New York’s top options.
As for the 16.5 number, Mikal has gone two straight games with 15 points this month and before then, hit this prop mark in each of their four October games. This is the best bet of Wednesday night as we look to get some historic luck between Bridges vs Hawks.
