4 NBA Player Props and Predictions for Tuesday, November 26: Herro Should Dominate!
NBA Cup Group Play continues tonight with the Spurs looking to Stephon Castle’s playmaking in order to continue their win streak, while the Phoenix Suns look to end their 5-game skid against the Lakers.
G Zach LaVine (CHI) OVER 23.5 Points
LaVine takes on a Washington team that has struggled heavily this season to defend perimeter threats. Over his last six games against the Wizards, Zach has scored 25+ points in five of those outings.
With Chicago’s NBA Cup hopes still alive heading into tonight, I’m banking on the star guard to score 24+ in his fifth straight game. In 9 away games this season, LaVine has shot it from a 45% clip from beyond the arc which is a positive sign heading into tonight’s matchup.
G Stephon Castle (SAS) OVER 17.5 PA
The San Antonio Spurs have arrived ladies and gentlemen! Wemby and company are 9-8 on the year while winning three in a row against Golden State, Utah, and Oklahoma City all in front of their home crowd. One key contributor during this stretch has been rookie Stephon Castle.
Castle has become a playmaking machine over these last three outings, going for 18 PA/ 24 PA/ 21 PA. He’s getting more and more confident on the ball and getting more on-ball duties as this season moves along.
In this game against a Utah team that sits bottom five in points allowed and assists allowed, this is a perfect spot for Castle to shine, especially against a smaller guard duo.
G Tyler Herro (MIA) OVER 21.5 Points
Herro comes into this matchup against Milwaukee scoring 18 points in back-to-back games while shooting 20 3PA combined.
With Miami winning both of those games and sitting at 7-7 on the year, this is a pivotal Group Play matchup tonight and one where Tyler Herro should step up and give Miami a much-needed victory and 3-game win streak.
Herro has scored 23.8 PPG this season and takes on a Bucks unit that just allowed a massive game to LaMelo Ball and has continued to struggle against opposing guards. Although on a cold stretch from beyond the arc, Herro should bounce back here at home.
G Bradley Beal (PHX) UNDER 22.5 PRA
With Bradley Beal returning from injury for his first outing since November 12th, it’s difficult to envision the Suns guard playing upwards of 25 minutes in this one, especially with Grayson Allen, Tyus Jones, and Royce O’Neale coming off some strong outings.
This will be a Booker game for Phoenix, who will return both Durant and Beal to the lineup while utilizing their bench core of Dunn, Okogie, and O’Neale which make for a commendable defensive unit.
Simply due to limited usage and minutes in his first game back in two weeks, we are taking Brad Beal’s under in this rivalry game against the Lakers.
