3 Underdog NBA Props for Wednesday, December 6

3 Underdog NBA Props for Wednesday, December 6

The NBA season is in full swing, and for the first time in several years, there is a different energy surrounding the league. Fans are more engaged than in years past, most of which concerns the In-Season Tournament. This has been an opportunity for regular season games to mean more than usual, exciting fans in an impressive manner.

That said, tonight is just a typical night of NBA action. Luckily for fans, there are 11 games on the slate tonight. It might not be for the In-Season Tournament, but we’re still excited about several games tonight.

We have studied the board, and while we’re taking over ten props in tonight’s action, here are more in-depth write-ups of our three favorite picks!

Paolo Banchero OVER .5 Double-Doubles (2.75x)

Regardless of your affinity towards the Orlando Magic, you have to be a fan of what Paolo Banchero has done this year. He averages 19.5 points per game, along with 6.8 rebounds.

Banchero gets better weekly and has a juicy matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. The Cavaliers have allowed power forwards to feast in recent history, paving the way for Banchero to have a monster game.

This, coupled with Banchero achieving double-doubles in his last two matches, is reason enough for us to bet on him hitting this mark again tonight. With the 2.75x boost on this one, we must take this in at least one of our parlays tonight!

Daniel Gafford OVER 10 Points

We like this spot for Daniel Gafford tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers will likely focus much of their attention in this game on the Washington Wizards’ other skilled players, including Kyle Kuzma and Deni Avdija.

Avdija has played especially well lately, as he is among the best young players in the NBA. This could pave the way for Gafford to have a big game against the 76ers, even though Joel Embiid will be tasked with guarding him all night.

Centers average 18.7 points per game against the 76ers this year, another reason for us to take the over on Gafford’s points.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander UNDER 30 Points

Don’t get me wrong. SGA is one of the best players in the NBA. He has proven a star and can lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to great heights.

We expect the Thunder to blow out the Houston Rockets tonight. The Thunder are trending upwards, and the Rockets are trending downwards quickly. SGA could be on the bench by the end of the third quarter, assuming the game is already wrapped up.

I anticipate him scoring closer to 20 points than 30 tonight, ensuring he hits the under in this spot.
