3 MLB Player Props for Wednesday, July 10: Will Gunnar Go Deep?

Happy Wednesday, everyone! We hope you tuned into last night’s MLB action because several awesome games unfolded. Four matchups were decided by one run, and a few teams (Philadelphia Phillies, Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates) scored in the double digits.

It was a raucous night of baseball, and we’re hoping the same for today’s matchups. We correctly predicted the two picks that we gave out yesterday, as Kenta Maeda struggled, and, as predicted, Chris Sale pitched a gem of a game.

Our third pick involved Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals, but their game got rained out. We’ve been hot over the last two days, hitting our last four plays. Let’s keep that streak alive with our favorite props from Underdog today!

Gunnar Henderson OVER 1.5 Total Bases (1.2X on Underdog)

We were a bit surprised to see Underdog give us an odds boost on Henderson’s line here, but we’ll certainly take it! Henderson has been a bright spot for the Baltimore Orioles all season, one of the reasons this team is one of the best in the league.

He’s already locked down a spot in the Home Run Derby, but we’re hoping he keeps his hit streak alive today, achieving at least two bases against the Chicago Cubs.

He faces a tough starter in Shota Imanaga, but we’re confident in his ability to hit against the most difficult pitchers in the league.

Bryce Harper OVER 1.5 Total Bases

Bryce Harper returned to the Philadelphia Phillies’ lineup yesterday after a few weeks off due to injury. As one might expect, he went 0/4, a relatively predictable result for someone who took some time off.

Harper isn’t the kind of player to stay in a slump, so we anticipate him to get back to his ball-bashing ways tonight.

The LA Dodgers are rolling out Gavin Stone, someone that Harper has only faced in three plate appearances, but he’s gotten on base all three times. Look for him to repeat that success in this one, easily going over his total base line.

Kyle Freeland OVER 6 Hits Allowed

This is the perfect storm for the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds’ bats have come alive, and not only are the Colorado Rockies struggling, but Kyle Freeland isn’t exactly having his best season.

He has an ERA north of 6.0 on the year and has allowed at least six hits in five of his last six starts. Look for Freeland to get shelled early, giving up at least six hits to this fiery Reds lineup.
