Washington at Philadelphia: 4 Player Props for Thursday Night Football
The 7-3 Commanders look to take back the NFC East lead on the 7-2 Eagles who are finally fully healthy on the offensive side of the ball.
While Jayden Daniels vs Jalen Hurts will be the matchup to watch, A.J. Brown against this Washington secondary might dictate the outcome of this rivalry game.
QB Jayden Daniels (WAS) UNDER 8.5 Rushing Attempts
Daniels is still a rushing threat in this divisional matchup against Philadelphia, but 9 rushing attempts is a steep number for the QB who hasn’t hit this mark in five straight outings.
As the season moves past the midpoint mark, Kingsbury is turning Daniels into a more comfortable passer, throwing 34 passes or more in three of his last four full games.
With Brian Robinson back in action, expect his rushing numbers to slightly dip in a massive NFC East bout.
WR A.J. Brown (PHI) OVER 0.5 Touchdowns
Brown hasn’t scored in his last three outings but that should change against Washington tonight. The Hurts to Brown connection has scored five touchdowns in four games against the Commanders.
The former Ole Miss star has torched the Washington secondary for over 300 yards in their last two games. In what could give the Eagles the divisional lead, I’m expecting Brown to be a focal point in the red zone.
TE Zach Ertz (WAS) OVER 3.5 Receptions
With Daniels becoming more comfortable inside the pocket as the season moves along, Zach Ertz is a fantastic centerpiece of this offense that has turned into a reliable bet.
Ertz has caught four or more balls in 6 of 10 games this season – his misses coming in either blowout wins or low-scoring games.
With this one turning out to become an offensive showdown, there’s a real chance the veteran tight end leads the team in catches as he faces a Philly defense allowing over 4 receptions per contest to the position.
QB Jalen Hurts (PHI) OVER 38.5 Rushing Yards
Hurts has bounced back from a slight lull earlier in the season with his legs, scoring eight rushing touchdowns in the last four games. In this divisional showdown, look for Hurts to escape the pocket, especially on 3rd downs where he seems to get more efficient as the season moves along.
The main Hurts statistic we will watch for as we get later into November and then December is the rushing YPG totals.
From 33 YPG on the ground in the month of October, the number rises to 48 and 46 YPG in November and December respectively over the course of his career. Hurts rushing totals in November: book it.
