TNF: Best Underdog Props for Seahawks at Cowboys

TNF Best Underdog Props for Seahawks at Cowboys

Hello everyone! Monday Night Football was a tough night for us, as Jordan Addison’s receiving yards chalked, and Josh Dobbs played the worst football we’ve seen out of him in quite some time. DJ Moore came through for us in a big way though, making the night not a complete bust.

Monday Night Football might have been a bust, and a pretty tough game to watch, but this week’s iteration of Thursday Night Football should make up for it! The Seattle Seahawks take on the Dallas Cowboys in a matchup between two of the best teams in the NFC. A win for the Seahawks puts the pressure on the San Francisco 49ers for the division lead, while a win for the Cowboys does the same thing, only for the Philadelphia Eagles.

There is a lot on the line in this game, and with the entire world watching, the pressure is mounting. We’re expecting a shootout, as is Las Vegas, as the current over/under is 46 points. We’ve put together our three favorite plays from Underdog, and our prediction of a shootout is reflected in these player props. Let’s dive into it!

Geno Smith OVER 225.5 Passing Yards

We might be expecting a shootout in this one, but we’re also thinking the Cowboys will jump out to an early lead. Geno Smith will likely be called upon to attempt 40+ passes, and if that’s the case, he will hit this number with ease.

Smith has passed for 226+ yards in six games this season, with all of those instances happening in close games. He seems to rise to the occasion when called upon, a big reason we’re taking the over for Smith in this spot.

Look for Smith to throw for closer to 300 yards than 225, hopefully hitting this over by the third quarter, making this a sweat-free cash!

Jaxon Smith-Njigba OVER 40.5 Receiving Yards

If Smith is going to have a big game through the air, he is going to need to trust his weapons down the field. Jaxon Smith-Njigba has continued to show Smith and the Seahawks that he is worthy of a large target share, as the rookie seems to keep making highlight reel-worthy plays.

He did that on Thanksgiving, and he has a great opportunity to keep that train rolling on TNF as well. Smith-Njigba has achieved 41+ yards in three of his past four games, an indication of his consistency within this offense.

We like his chances to connect with Smith for at least one deep shot in this game, which would put him over the top to hit this over.

Brandin Cooks OVER 3 Receptions

This has been our favorite play in every Cowboys game lately. Opposing defenses spend so much time guarding CeeDee Lamb and Tony Pollard that they tend to forget about Brandin Cooks.

Cooks isn’t necessarily the player that he used to be, but he does have a place within this potent offense. He has caught at least three balls in six games this season, including the Cowboys’ last three games.

Cooks is trending upwards in this offense, look for another game with solid production from him, catching at least three passes and hitting the over for us!
