Steelers vs. Browns: 3 Player Props for Thursday Night Football

Steelers vs. Browns 3 Player Props for Thursday

Happy Thursday to all! Can you believe we’ve already reached Week 12 of the NFL season? We certainly can’t, this year is flying by far too quickly.

Week 12 starts tonight with an interesting game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. This seems like a relatively easy win for the Steelers given their record and how poorly the Browns have played all year. However, divisional matchups are never easy, and AFC North games tend to be especially hard-fought. We think this will be something of a dogfight and picked player props that resemble how we see the game playing out. With that in mind, let’s get into our top picks from tonight’s action!

Russell Wilson OVER 187.5 Passing Yards

Russell Wilson is having a resurgence in his first season with the Steelers. He was disappointing with the Denver Broncos but has certainly proved that he has plenty of gas left in the tank, even after missing a few games at the beginning of the year due to injury.

Wilson has passed for at least 188 yards in every game he’s started this season, and believe he’ll continue that trend tonight against the Browns. Their AFC North opposers have a strong secondary, but with a projected shootout, at least in our minds, Wilson will likely need to throw for 200+ for the Steelers to win this game.

Chris Boswell OVER 1.5 Made Field Goals

Chris Boswell has been the Steelers’ secret weapon all year. Fantasy managers love having him on their roster, and so do the Steelers. He’s not only accurate, but he’s clutch in moments when the Steelers need him to help them win games.

Wilson does a great job bringing the team downfield, but when he can’t finish drives with touchdowns, Boswell has been there to put points on the board. He shouldn’t have a problem hitting two field goals tonight, with a ceiling to have five or six, like he did last week.

Cedric Tillman OVER 43.5 Receiving Yards

“Screw it, Cedric Tillman down there somewhere,”- Jameis Winston, probably. In all seriousness, Cedric Tillman has broken onto the scene with Winston as his quarterback this year, giving Browns fans some hope for the future of their wide receiver room.

Tillman has logged 47+ yards in the last four weeks and has two performances with at least 81 yards. The Steelers might have a strong secondary, but with Winston’s propensity to chuck the ball downfield, Tillman should pass the 44-yard mark with ease.
