Seahawks at Giants: Best Player Prop Bets for MNF

Seahawks at Giants Best Player Prop Bets for MNF

Just in time for the last full slate of games before the byes begin, the NFL schedule returns to normal with a single Monday Night Football game to close out Week 4. So far in 2023, favorites on Monday night have gone 1-2-2, with a pair of pushes on three-point spreads, while the under has cashed in four of five.

The New York Giants return home this weekend after a 1-1 trip to the West Coast, where they came back to defeat Arizona and played a Thursday dud against San Francisco on a short week. They’ll face their third straight NFC West opponent, but it’ll be on their own field this time.

Seattle enters this Week 4 primetime game after winning two in a row against the Lions and Panthers. This Monday night matchup marks the first of two road games in a row for the Seahawks, but luckily they have a bye week sandwiched in between, albeit early in the season.

The G-Men are favored by 1.5 points at MetLife Stadium, where the line has shifted from a pick ‘em at the open. The total has also moved up from 45 to 47. For reference, the Seahawks have scored 29 points per game this season and allowed 29.3.

New York is also struggling to prevent teams from scoring, allowing 32.7 points per game, but has been underwhelming offensively and ranks 31st in points scored. We’ll look to the prop market to find value in the margins of this matchup and have our best bets for Week 4’s MNF lined up next.

Kenneth Walker III: Anytime Touchdown Scorer

Walker’s carries have increased each week this season, up to 18 last week and 35 over the previous two combined. He’s scored four touchdowns in the last two weeks, including when he only managed 2.5 yards per carry against the Lions in an overtime win for the team.

Walker rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries in their 2022 meeting against the Giants, so there is a precedent for him scoring against the defense, too.

For New York, even when tossing out their outlier loss to Dallas in Week 1, they have given up almost 300 yards rushing and three touchdowns on the ground in the last two games. We’d expect Walker to reach 16-20 carries in this game, and at least one of those will see him cross the goal line.

Daniel Jones UNDER 0.5 Interceptions

The Giants QB has struggled with interceptions so far this season, and we believe the public will key in on that for this prop. That said, it’s hard to ignore that he hasn’t gone 60 minutes without turning the ball over.

His accuracy numbers have gotten slightly worse, but not at a rate where he should be throwing more than an interception per game. That trend will correct itself over time if the underlying measures hold. Seattle has only intercepted one pass this season, good for the lowest rate in the NFL at 0.8%.

They are 21st in blitz rate and 27th in pressure rate, which gives us more confidence in Jones having the time to make accurate throws. We like Jones to keep his composure and eliminate the picks in Week 4.
