Ravens at Bucs: 3 Player Prop Bets for Thursday Night Football

Ravens at Bucs 3 Player Prop Bets for Thursday Night Football

Thursday Night Football experienced a nice revival in Week 7 with the shootout between the Saints and Cardinals. Week 8 brings a matchup between two potential division-winning teams in the Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

These two teams have completely opposite styles on offense in 2022, with Tampa Bay ranking 6th in passing yards and 32nd in rushing while Baltimore is top 5 in rushing and 26th in passing yards per game. The Bucs are a slim, one-point home favorite and the total is posted at 45.5.

Week 7’s group of TNF best bets split 2-2, though one of the losses was on a long shot parlay that would have cashed if New Orleans had won. Taysom Hill managed just 9 rushing yards to go well under his projected total of 32.5 and Wil Lutz kicked two field goals to eclipse his total of 1.5 field goals made.

With a matchup of projected playoff teams coming to Thursday Night Football for Week 8, we reload with another batch of 3 player prop bets for Ravens at Bucs.

Lamar Jackson UNDER 1.5 Passing TDs

Best Available Odds: -138 at FanDuel

Jackson ranks fourth in the league in passing touchdowns in 2022 with 13 in seven games. That number is buoyed by his incredibly hot start to this season in which he threw 10 touchdowns in Baltimore’s first three games.

Since Week 3, the Ravens have scored barely more than 20 points per game and Jackson has thrown just three touchdowns in four games. Tampa Bay will apply pressure to the Ravens’ offensive line, forcing Jackson to run to score his points on Thursday night, if at all.

Mike Evans OVER 67.5 Receiving Yards

Best Available Odds: -115 at FanDuel

Evans drew 15 targets from Tom Brady in Week 7’s loss to the Carolina Panthers, managing to bring down nine of those throws for 96 yards. He also dropped what would have been a 70+ yard touchdown that all but ruined any chances of Tampa getting on the scoreboard.

Evans is the undeniable first option in an offense that throws the ball more than 29 other teams, and Baltimore’s defense has allowed more passing yards than 28 other teams so far this season. Between Evans’ dominant target share and his ability to stretch the field, he should be well-positioned to far exceed this total on TNF.

Ryan Succop -0.5 vs. Justin Tucker: Field Goals Made

Best Available Odds: +115 at DraftKings

Betting against Justin Tucker is not something to take lightly. While he is as close to automatic as it gets, this is more based on the number of field goal attempts each kicker will have.

Tampa Bay has attempted 17 field goals in 2022, tied for the second-most in the NFL. Their touchdown-scoring rate in the red zone this season is tied for 27th, which means that Succop has had plenty of opportunities to make kicks from inside of 40 yards.

Succop’s made 16 of those 17 tries overall, and will likely be called upon again on Thursday to bail out a Bucs offense that continues to struggle with pass protection and third-down conversions. Tampa Bay converts on 35.1% of their third downs, ranking 26th in the NFL.
