Our NFL Week 17 DFS Lineup for FanDuel Sunday Million
Week 17’s DFS slate is sure to have some great games, along with some big individual performances. Let’s dive into a few of these players and check out who will be the most impactful for DFS lineups.
This week, we’ve targeted the Sunday Million contest over at FanDuel. If you’re looking for a DFS contest with a low entry fee but high payouts, you won’t find one better than this one.
QUARTERBACK: Justin Fields ($8,400)
There’s a reason that Justin Fields has the third-highest quarterback salary this week. The Chicago Bears are facing off against the Detroit Lions, who are the worst team in the league against opposing quarterbacks.
Fields should be able to run all over the Lions this week, who are in desperation mode to fight for a playoff spot. It wouldn’t surprise us if Fields cracks the 100-yard rushing mark in this one.
RB: Tyler Allgeier ($6,700) & Jerick McKinnon ($6,800)
Tyler Allgeier is putting together quite the rookie campaign. Although many doubted the fifth-rounders ability to succeed in the NFL, he has certainly found it as of late.
In his last two contests, Allgeier has scored 13.7 and 22.1 points, respectively. Look for Allgeier to have more success this week against the Arizona Cardinals, who allow 23.5 points per game to opposing running backs.
Jerick McKinnon has slowly turned into the Kansas City Chiefs’ best running back. He has put up huge numbers as of late (11.3, 30.2, and 28.9) and looks to continue that on Sunday.
Although their opponent, the Denver Broncos, has a stingy defense, McKinnon should have a large amount of volume. Given that the Chiefs will likely pull out to a big lead early, McKinnon should run the ball a lot in the second half.
WR: Jahan Dotson ($6,100), Diontae Johnson ($6,600), Tyreek Hill ($9,000)
Jahan Dotson is turning into a valuable weapon for the Washington Commanders in his rookie season. In the past three games, Dotson has been targeted 24 times, turning those into 15 receptions, 235 yards, and three touchdowns.
Although his connection with newly-named starting quarterback Carson Wentz has been spotty, Dotson should remain a large part of this offense and as a part of your DFS lineup as well.
Diontae Johnson has yet to have a “boom” game this season, which is largely attributed to the fact that he has yet to score a receiving touchdown. Although touchdowns are certainly difficult to predict, this week’s matchup against the Baltimore Ravens gives him a great opportunity to do so.
What more can be said about Tyreek Hill that hasn’t already been said? Hill is an athletic marvel, and although he has had two straight weeks with under 20 fantasy points, look for him to bounce back this week against the New England Patriots.
TIGHT END: Evan Engram ($5,800)
Engram’s recent rapport with Trevor Lawrence cannot be overlooked. In the Jacksonville Jaguars’ past three games, Engram has recorded a whopping 33 targets, which has resulted in 26 receptions, 337 yards, and two touchdowns.
The tight end position has been bleak this season, but Engram certainly provides a bright spot this week against the Houston Texans.
FLEX: Adam Thielen ($6,300)
In the Minnesota Vikings’ week one matchup with the Green Bay Packers, Thielen had just three catches for 36 yards, resulting in 5.1 fantasy points. However, this was largely due to Justin Jefferson’s performance of nine catches, 184 yards, and two touchdowns.
Look for the Packers to lock down Jefferson this week, paving the way to more targets and points for Thielen. This price is also pretty reasonable.
DEFENSE: Kansas City Chiefs ($4,300)
The Chiefs’ defense certainly hasn’t been one of the NFL’s best this season. They have allowed 22.3 points per game on the year.
However, they face off against the Denver Broncos this week, one of the NFL’s worst scoring teams. Look for the Chiefs’ defense to bounce back this week, especially considering they are still fighting for the number one seed in the AFC.
