NFL Week 6 Lineups for DraftKings Millionaire

Week 6 started strong, as the Kansas City Chiefs dismantled the Denver Broncos in primetime. Now, we have a strong Sunday slate ahead of us, which features several games that are sure to provide some great entertainment.

This week, we’ve put together a lineup for the DraftKings $3.5 Fantasy Football Millionaire contest. Let’s take a look at our favorite lineup, hoping to get close to taking down the top prize!

Quarterback: Brock Purdy ($5,600)

Brock Purdy is currently playing at an MVP-level pace. The San Francisco 49ers currently hold a 5-0 record largely due to Purdy’s strong play.

Their offense is humming and now Purdy and the 49ers face off against the Cleveland Browns for their Week 6 matchup. The Browns have allowed Kenny Pickett and Lamar Jackson to have big games against them this season, a trend we expect to continue against Purdy and the 49ers.

Purdy scored over 26 points against a strong Dallas defense last week, and a 25+ point performance is exactly what we need out of our quarterback this week.

RB: Brian Robinson Jr. ($5,700) & Raheem Mostert ($6,400)

The Washington Commanders have a date with the Atlanta Falcons this week. This is great news for Brian Robinson, who is averaging 14.2 points per game this season.

Robinson has taken over as the lead back in Washington, taking that role away from Antonio Gibson. The Falcons have allowed the fourth-fewest points to opposing running backs this season, a reason that many will stay away from Robinson.

However, we’re expecting the Commanders to utilize the run a lot this week, in what should be a balanced offensive attack. The Miami Dolphins are without Devon Achane this week. FEED RAHEEM MOSTERT!

Seriously, we were surprised to see that DraftKings had Mostert’s salary so low to begin with. Achane was trending towards not playing in Week 6 after his injury last week, and we see Mostert as a budget piece with tremendous upside.

The Carolina Panthers allow nearly 35 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, the perfect storm for Mostert to have a monster game this week.

WR: Jordan Addison ($5,700), D.J. Moore ($6,500), & Calvin Ridley ($6,700)

We typically take a big-time receiver in our DFS lineups, but this week, we went for three moderately-priced options that could provide fantastic values.

Justin Jefferson is now on IR, leaving a massive hole in target share for the Minnesota Vikings. Kirk Cousins needs to turn to somebody to make plays happen this week, and we’re projecting Addison to receive the majority of his targets.

Addison has been trending upward with Jefferson on the field, putting up six catches for 64 yards and a touchdown last week against the Kansas City Chiefs’ strong secondary.

The Chicago Bears allow 36.5 fantasy points per game to opposing receivers, giving up several massive games. If Addison gets the target share we’re expecting, he could be the best value on this roster.

D.J. Moore is one week removed from a 230-yard, three-touchdown game. While we don’t necessarily think he’ll have this big of a performance, Moore could provide immense value at $6,500.

The Vikings’ defense allows the fourth-most points to receivers this season, and with Moore coming off a big week, it just makes sense to include him in our lineup.

Calvin Ridley’s 2023 season has been something of a rollercoaster. He has put up some insane boom weeks, but his down weeks have been pretty dreadful. While Ridley has scored 23.6 and 27.1 points in two separate performances, he also has two games with less than 8 points.

We are anticipating more of a boom week for Ridley against the Indianapolis Colts. The Jacksonville Jaguars need a big morale boost with a victory over their divisional rival, and Ridley should be a big part of their offensive scheme in this one.

Tight End: Logan Thomas ($3,500)

Logan Thomas is a fantastic budget tight end this week. He has gotten more and more utilization within the Commanders’ offense, and this week is a great opportunity for him to stay on that trajectory.

The Falcons give up the fifth-most points per game to tight ends on the year, and with Thomas on an upward swing, he could easily score 15+ points this week.

Outside of Travis Kelce, George Kittle, and Mark Andrews, this is an optimal outcome from the tight end position.

Flex: Brandon Aiyuk ($6,200)

We wanted to pair a 49ers receiver with Purdy, and after thinking about it, Aiyuk made the most sense. For a DFS lineup, we’re looking for boom potential, and Aiyuk certainly provides that.

He has a 35.9 and 23.8-point game on the year, one of Purdy’s favorite targets within the offense. When he’s on the field, he is a must-play in all fantasy lineups, including DFS. Play Aiyuk this week with confidence.

Defense: Miami Dolphins ($3,500)

Man, the Miami Dolphins are a tough out this season. At 4-1, they are one of the best teams in the AFC, and in the NFL in general.

Their offense is an absolute juggernaut, and their defense is also shaping up to be pretty darn good as well. This week, they face off against the 0-5 Carolina Panthers, one of the worst teams in the league.

Rookie Bryce Young has looked inconsistent thus far, and the Dolphins’ opportunistic defense could prove to be a tough test. We don’t mind paying up for elite defenses, which is why we’re spending a bit more than usual on the Dolphins.
