NFL Week 10 Lineup for DraftKings Millionaire

NFL Week 10 Lineup for DraftKings

Week 10 is officially upon us! This Sunday could be an interesting week, especially from a DFS standpoint. Four teams are on bye, which includes the Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, and Los Angeles Rams.

DFS players might be disappointed that they can’t use some of their favorite players, including Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, A.J. Brown, and many others. That’s where we come in! We’ve put together a few lineups in their absence, but the below is our absolute favorite for this week.

Take a look at the below, which we submitted for DraftKings’ $3 Million Fantasy Football Millionaire contest. We think you’ll find some great plays scattered throughout, including a few budget pieces we expect to have big weeks!

Quarterback: Sam Howell ($5,900)

We were surprised to see Sam Howell’s salary so low this week. Howell has been on a tear lately, scoring nearly 30 PPG over his last two games.

He has led the Washington Commanders’ offense to impressive heights, winning against the New England Patriots last week and holding his own against the Philadelphia Eagles in a shootout the week prior.

This week, the Commanders take on the struggling Seattle Seahawks, who were just blown out by the Baltimore Ravens. They allow 32.6 PPG to opposing quarterbacks, providing the perfect opportunity for Howell to put together another outstanding game.

RB: Tyler Allegier ($4,700) & Aaron Jones ($6,500)

We typically choose one budget running back and one more expensive back each week. While it doesn’t always pan out, this strategy often allows us to allocate more budget to wide receivers, a tactic that has paid off well this season.

Tyler Allegier’s role on the Atlanta Falcons seems to be in flux. Arthur Smith can’t decide between him and Bijan Robinson, which can be frustrating for all involved. Allegier is frequently involved in the passing game, offering the type of upside we are chasing for a budget player this week.

When he is a part of their game plan, he has yielded great results this season. He has individual games with 24.4, 14.2, and 11 points on the season. We’re expecting him to have between 10-15 points on the week, making him a must-have given his salary.

Aaron Jones appears to be fully healthy. This is not only a great thing for the Green Bay Packers, but it’s awesome for fantasy managers and DFS players.

He saw 20 carries last week, which he turned into 73 yards and a touchdown. If he retains that level of volume against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, he should have a monster day. The Steelers allow 27.5 PPG to opposing backs this season, and with A.J. Dillon seeing a reduced role, this game should be the Aaron Jones show.

WR: Jayden Reed ($3,800), Nico Collins ($6,600), & Ja’Marr Chase ($8,600)

When searching for receivers with a salary under $4,000, Jayden Reed was the perfect pick for this lineup. The Packers seem to like having him on their roster and have been using the second-round pick more and more every week.

Reed caught all three of his targets last week and has been a consistently reliable player for Jordan Love. We’re expecting at least four catches for him in this game, and a touchdown reception would be the icing on the cake for this budget player.

The Houston Texans keep surprising us. C.J. Stroud has cemented his place atop the Offensive Rookie of the Year rankings due to his massive outputs weekly. Nico Collins has been one of Stroud’s favorite targets, which has resulted in 16.1 PPG on the year.

We believe he’s in line for a big game against the Cincinnati Bengals this week, especially since Tank Dell has gotten a lot of attention from defenses lately.

Ja’Marr Chase is a true talent. He has helped Joe Burrow get back on track after a slow start and continues to be a massive part of this offense.

This play is more about narratives this week than anything else, as Chase has an agreement with Chad Johnson about a post-touchdown celebration. There are a lot of reasons to spend for Chase this week, but this celebration agreement puts it over the top for us.

Tight End: Dalton Schultz ($4,900)

Dalton Schultz is coming off one of the biggest games in his career. Last week, he scored 31 fantasy points, which was anchored by a 10-catch, 130-yard day that included a touchdown reception.

While we’re certainly not going to project another 30+ point day, Schultz is a big part of the Texans’ game plan. He is a safety blanket for Stroud, and if he is the recipient of a few dump-off passes, we wouldn’t be surprised if he got close to 20 points this week.

Flex: Chris Olave ($6,400)

We projected a breakout performance for Chris Olave last week, and he responded with a 16.6-point performance. As you can see, we’re running it back again in this lineup.

Olave and the New Orleans Saints are taking on the Minnesota Vikings, who only give up 17.3 fantasy points to receivers this season. While that might be a factor for some to shy away from Olave, we think he can break through, resulting in a worthy spot in our lineup.

Defense: Arizona Cardinals ($2,500)

Kyler Murray is BACK! He is the Cardinals’ franchise star, and his teammates should be excited to see him back on the field given his long absence.

We’re expecting the Cardinals to play hard on defense this week, fighting hard to get Murray a win in his first game back. Look for the Cardinals’ opportunistic defense to take chances against the Atlanta Falcons this week, hoping to put up a big fantasy performance.
