NFL Divisional Round Preview: Best Player Prop Parlay for the Weekend

NFL Divisional Round Best Player Prop Parlay for the Weekend

In this divisional round parlay that sits around +470, we have Jayden Daniels utilizing his legs once again as Kliff Kingsbury will leave the ball in his best player’s hands against the tough Detroit defense.

Looking at the AFC props, John Metchie is a young wideout who has been getting more comfortable with C.J. Stroud and could have an opportunity to break out with a positive game script against Kansas City.

  • Texans at Chiefs (SAT, 4:30 PM EST)
  • Commanders at Lions (SAT, 8:00 PM EST)
  • Rams at Eagles (SUN, 3 PM EST)
  • Ravens at Bills (SUN, 6:30 PM EST)

WR John Metchie (HOU) OVER 2.5 Receptions

With the Houston receiving core limited to just Nico Collins, Robert Woods, John Metchie, and Xavier Hutchinson for the rest of the postseason, there seems to be plenty of opportunity for one of the later names on this list to have a couple of big catches against the Kansas City zone.

While Nico Collins will serve as Houston’s WR1, John Metchie has proven to be Stroud’s 2nd outside target throughout stretches of the season. The 24-year-old has seen 20 targets over his last three outings while logging two or more catches in each of the last five games. With Kansas City most likely getting ahead in this ball game, the game script is perfect for Metchie.

QB Jayden Daniels (WAS) OVER 9.5 Rush Attempts

A popular bet heading into this weekend involves one of the new fan favorites. Jayden Daniels received MVP chants… as a rookie… in an away postseason game. The superstar scored twice last weekend through the air and added 36 yards on the ground on 13 attempts.

This season, JD has rushed 10 or more times in seven games and as the postseason rolls along, I’m expecting Kliff Kingsbury to keep the ball in his best players’ hands as much as possible in Detroit.

RB Austin Ekeler (WAS) UNDER 6.5 Rush Attempts

Ekeler received eight carries in last week’s win in Tampa Bay in his second game back from injury. This season he’s averaged this prop right on the nose with 6.4 carries per game.

If you look at the TOP battle last week, it’s highly doubtful the Commanders hold the ball for 10+ minutes longer than Detroit. Therefore, expect more carries to Daniels and Robinson, and less opportunity overall for Austin Ekeler on the ground.

RB Kyren Williams (LAR) OVER 1.5 Receptions

Another player who has somewhat struggled on the ground as of late but has made up for it with receptions, Kyren Williams should be able to become a threat against Philly through the air.

Kyren has averaged less than 5 YPC and has rushed for under 100 yards in back-to-back games for the first time since the mid-season point. Against an Eagles front allowing 4.3 YPC (9th in NFL), expect KW to get three or more receptions for the third straight game.
