Michigan State vs Wisconsin: 3 Player Prop Predictions for Friday, February 13

Happy Friday to all! If you’re sitting at home bummed that no football or NBA action is going on tonight, you’re in good company. You could watch some Olympics reruns, which are certainly exciting, or you could tune into some live college basketball, which is what we’re planning on doing!

There are a few great games to choose from, but our favorite of the night is between No. 10 Michigan State and Wisconsin. Don’t let Wisconsin’s unranked status fool you; they’re an awesome team that’s taken down the likes of Illinois and Michigan already this year. With that said, let’s get into our top player prop picks from this one, hoping to start the weekend with a sweep!

John Blackwell OVER 16.5 Points

John Blackwell has been on a tear lately for the Badgers. He’s had 17+ in nine of his past 10 games and had 20+ in five of those contests. Michigan State is a tough opponent, don’t get us wrong, but with Blackwell having 24 against Illinois and 27 against Michigan, we feel pretty good about his chances of having another solid night. We’re not only expecting Blackwell to go over 17 points, but we wouldn’t be surprised if he gets 20+.

Nolan Winter UNDER 1.5 Assists

Nolan Winter is the Badgers’ third-leading scorer, a consistent force that they can rely on for offensive production. He’s much better served as a scorer than a distributor, and his numbers show that. He’s averaging just 1.7 assists per game on the year, and has had one or zero assists in four straight games against Michigan State. With that in mind, we’re fading this total again tonight, needing to see it to believe it before trusting him.

Coen Carr UNDER 11.5 Points

Coen Carr has struggled against the Badgers during his collegiate career. He’s never achieved double-digits in his four meetings with them, and his best game was last year, when he had six points on 37.5% shooting from the field. This is by far our favorite prop from Michigan State tonight, and we’re certainly unafraid to take the under for him in this one too.
