Iowa vs. Missouri Betting Preview: 3 Player Props for Music City Bowl

Iowa vs. Missouri 3 Player Props for Music City Bowl

Hello, college football fans! Welcome to yet another day with Bowl Game action, giving us all something to look forward to on an otherwise uninspiring Monday of sports programming.

This past weekend was filled with some fantastic bowl games, and we’re hoping for the same from the Music City Bowl tonight, a matchup between Iowa and Missouri. With a projected over/under of 40.5 points, oddsmakers aren’t convinced that this is going to be a high-scoring matchup. Will these teams surprise us? Let’s take a look at our top player props and find out!

Brady Cook OVER 179.5 Passing Yards

Brady Cook has been up and down all season for the Missouri Tigers. He’s had a few boom performances, including a 268-yard performance against Mississippi State on November 23rd, but has also had a few head-scratching dud games.

Despite his up-and-down play, we’re confident in his ability to achieve at least 180 passing yards today, if not over 200. Iowa might have a strong defense but considering this is the last time Cook could play in a competitive football game; we’re thinking he’s going to give it everything he’s got. Look for Cook to eclipse the 180-yard mark by the end of the third quarter, resulting in an easy win from this prop!

Theo Wease Jr. OVER 63.5 Receiving Yards

This prop is right in line with our summation of Brady Cook. Cook has developed a strong relationship with Theo Wease Jr. all season, and Wease put up more yards than Luther Burden, a player many expected to be a 2025 first-round draft pick.

We like Wease’s odds of putting up another big game in this bowl, especially since Burden isn’t playing. Look for Wease and Cook to put another masterclass together, resulting in Wease having at least 64 receiving yards.

Kamari Moulton OVER 68.5 Rushing Yards

Kamari Moulton has been overshadowed by Kaleb Johnson all year in the Iowa backfield, and for good reason. Johnson wasn’t expected to have a fantastic year by any means, but he ended up turning into one of the best backs in the country.

Johnson opted out of the Music City Bowl to get ready for the NFL Draft, which gives Moulton a real opportunity to showcase what he can do. With some expected troubles from the Iowa passing game, we anticipate that Moulton will get a lot of carries in this game, resulting in at least 69 rushing yards.
