DraftKings NFL Fantasy Lineup for Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas, everyone! It doesn’t matter what you asked for this holiday season; we can all agree that taking down the DraftKings Millionaire Contest would be the best present of them all.

With just three more weeks to take home the top prize, why not us this week? We’ve crafted our favorite lineup of the Sunday slate, which is found below. Let’s get into it!

Quarterback: Joe Flacco ($5,500)

That’s right! Joe Flacco is our favorite DFS play this week, and no, the year is not 2016. Flacco has found a significant role on the Cleveland Browns thus far and has already established rapport with several skill-position players.

Look for him to have a big game against the Houston Texans, a team that gives up 23.7 points per game to opposing quarterbacks, the most of any team in the league.

Running Backs: Chris Rodriguez Jr. ($4,500) & Chubba Hubbard ($5,700)

.Playing Chris Rodriguez Jr. this week is a risky move, we recognize. However, given that he was utilized a lot in the second half of last week, we’re more than happy to take a chance on him.

The team has seemingly soured on Antonio Gibson, favoring Rodriguez in many instances. He could score a touchdown or two in this matchup with the New York Jets, making him the perfect upside DFS play.

Chubba Hubbard is the Carolina Panthers’ RB1, and the Green Bay Packers stink on defense. That’s it. That’s the analysis.

Okay, all joking aside, it pains me to write this as a Packers fan, but the Packers keep getting torched in the run game. Until they find a way to stop their opponents, I will keep picking their players in fantasy, especially in a DFS format.

Wide Receivers: Jayden Reed ($5,400), Jordan Addison ($6,000), & Jaylen Waddle ($7,800)

Jayden Reed is my favorite budget player this week. Reed seems to be a lock to score a touchdown every week, and the Packers keep featuring him in their offense. He has been a phenomenal talent as a rookie, and with this cheap DFS investment, this deal seemed too good to be true.

Like Reed, Jordan Addison’s rookie season has been spectacular. He was a solid fill-in for Justin Jefferson, and his role has stuck around in Jefferson’s return. We like his chances of having a big game against the Detroit Lions this week, as their defense’s attention will likely be pointed at Jefferson. If that is the case, Addison should have a field day.

Jaylen Waddle could see an increased workload this week, especially if Tyreek Hill is out again due to injury. In a big game against the Dallas Cowboys this weekend, Waddle will be called upon to make a difference in the passing game, as he is typically good for a few deep balls per game. If he catches at least one of those long passes for a touchdown, his high price tag will be well worth it!

Tight End: Tucker Kraft ($3,700)

Tucker Kraft is an interesting play this week. With the Packers announcing that Luke Musgrave is out for another game, Kraft becomes all the more valuable to the Packers.

He has established himself as a solid rookie tight end, and if he finds the endzone, you’ll be happy with his performance this week.

Flex: Mike Evans ($7,600)

There aren’t many wide receivers with a safer weekly floor than Mike Evans. He is the picture of consistency, and with a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, he has an opportunity to expand that role.

Even if Evans ends with his typical 17.8 points this week, it will be a great start to a big DFS performance.

Defense: Washington Commanders ($3,700)

Despite the team’s less-than-ideal record, the Commanders’ defense has been good all year. They are facing off against the Trevor Siemian-led New York Jets, so they should have a great opportunity to get a turnover or two.

The cost for this defense might be hefty, but it should prove well worth it this week.
