DraftKings Millionaire Lineup Strategy and Picks for NFL Week 2

DraftKings NFL Week 2 Millionaire Maker Picks

The NFL Week 2 Millionaire Maker is a $20 contest with a $3.5 million purse and $1 million top prize. With a week of data in our pockets, expect scoring to jump this week. The week 1 million dollar lineup finished with just 196.88 points. Last season’s average winning lineup was 230+ points, so be sure to target players/lineups with 5x+ upside.

Here are the players we are targeting with our optimal lineup for DraftKings week 2 GPP contests:

QB Kyler Murray – $6,600

After torching the Bills in the first half, Kyler Murray’s production fell off a cliff in the 2nd half as Buffalo inched back into the game to avoid an upset from Arizona. Against Los Angeles in Week 2, Murray has a chance to win just his 2nd career game against McVay and LA who are now 0-1 on the year. With limited defensive weapons, I’m looking for K1 to run wild on this Rams defense that is now without superstar power up front. Although historically the Rams have held Murray in check, this Arizona offense is in the best place it’s been during the Murray era and that should show in Week 2.

RB Josh Jacobs – $6,500

With Jordan Love out, Josh Jacobs’ production in the receiving game should rise and moving forward, he’ll be an RB1 type player. Jacobs logged over 100 total yards against Philly in the tight loss last week, and facing up against an Indy team that let Joe Mixon run wild on them, look for Jacobs and the Green Bay front to push the ball down the field as this game has shootout written all over it.

RB JK Dobbins – $5,400

JK Dobbins was the unsung star of Week 1, rushing for 135 yards and a score on just 10 rushing attempts – proper JK Dobbins production. Harbaugh loves the running game and that showed in Week 1 and should pop up again against a Carolina team that looks lost already, allowing over 100 yards to Kamara and over 50 yards to Jamaal Williams last week.

WR Marvin Harrison Jr. – $6,900

MHJ had a poor debut, but guess what? So did Wembanyama. While you can’t compare the two, MHJ is truly a generational talent and over the week-long break Arizona has, Gannon and the staff will be imploring Murray to incorporate the rookie into the game plan more this week against the Rams. In a home game, look for K1 and Marvin to find their connection and score points against the LA defense.

WR Ladd McConkey – $4,900

McConkey and Dobbins are the two Chargers we are running with against this Panthers defense. The Chargers rookie wideout scored while catching 5 balls for 39 yards while looking like a new go-to target for Justin Herbert. After a 67% snap percentage – which was 2nd only to Josh Palmer among LA wideouts, McConkey should be a 3rd-down threat and specialist moving forward and should be incorporated into the Game 2 game plan against a weak defense.

WR Cooper Kupp – $7,600

You cannot leave Cooper Kupp off your squad this week. With Puka Nacua out and the Cardinals secondary willing to sit back and not allow much over the top, Cooper Kupp should receive at least 15 targets this week as he gets back into his old form. Arizona allowed 34 points in Week 1 to Buffalo and are due to allow 25+ again to the Rams, something they’ve done in their last two meetings.

TE Chiggy Okonkwo – $4,000

Okonkwo caught a fantastic touchdown against the Bears last week before the team collapsed to the Bears defense. Moving forward, Okonkwo’s 59% snap percentage should rise as an athletic tight end that could give Will Levis some stress-free throws at the beginning of games. With only 2 targets in Week 1, I’m expecting Levis to take care of the ball and find Chiggy in 3rd down scenarios against New York who’s secondary will shut down Ridley, Boyd, and company.

FLX Isaiah Likely – $4,800

Our X-factor of the week Isaiah Likely is coming off of his best performance of his 3-year-career. Likely played in 66% of snaps and nearly scored 2 touchdowns on top of his 111 yard night. Moving forward, the Ravens will look to utilize Likely in traditional bunch sets but also throw him on the outside against smaller defenders – especially in the red zone. After a close Week 1 loss, they should be able to run up the score against the Raiders to Isaiah’s benefit.

DST Chiefs – $3,200

Kansas City vs. Cincy after allowing just 20 points to Baltimore? I’m a fan of KC’s defense this week after New England completely shut down the Bengals offense, including Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Burrow’s connection. KC normally isn’t a defense to finish in 1st place for the week, but they should be able to finish top 5 against a struggling Bengals o-line and offensive scheme.
