College Football Week 5 Player Prop Picks

College Football Week 5 Player Prop Picks

Another week of College Football action is upon us. While fans might not be treated to the same level of slate that we saw last week, there are still several games that could provide memorable moments.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve admittedly gotten aboard the Deion Sanders hype train, placing full belief in the Colorado Buffaloes. That was quickly halted last week after they were dismantled by a much better Oregon roster. We’re not going to recommend any player props from that team this week largely due to their disappointing performances last week.

However, the good news is that there are so many other games taking place, so we can forget all about Colorado! Let’s take a look at our top three favorite player props on this week’s CFB slate, which are all found on Underdog.

Devin Leary OVER 229.5 Passing Yards

When Will Levis declared for the 2023 NFL Draft, it left a void in Kentucky’s offense. Levis was a major reason that this university became a football school, as he was a major part in turning their team around. However, Devin Leary has filled in nicely in his absence, leading Kentucky to a 4-0 record.

This week, Leary and Kentucky have their work cut out for them, as they are slated to take on 22-ranked Florida. If Florida jumps to an early lead, Kentucky could find themselves in a negative game script, forcing Leary to throw the ball more. He already has three games with more than 230 yards, a number that we think he will soar over in this contest.

Brock Bowers OVER 58.5 Receiving Yards

Besides Marvin Harrison Jr., Brock Bowers is the most talked-about pass catcher in the entire NCAA. He has been a dominant force on Georgia’s offense, and many believed he was ready for the 2023 draft. However, since he stayed at Georgia, Bowers is looking for every opportunity to show that he’s a first round talent, hoping to bolster his draft stock for 2024.

With that in mind, Bowers needs to keep putting up big games. He is coming off a 121-yard game, and we’re anticipating similar numbers in this matchup with Auburn. Look for Bowers to hit the over, especially since his receiving line is only 58.5 yards.

Sam Hartman OVER 244.5 Passing Yards

Although he put up a heck of a fight, Sam Hartman and the Notre Dame squad fell to Ohio State last week. Hartman played well in this loss, especially considering Ohio State’s staunch defense. He has already moved himself up many analysts’ draft boards, and could do more of the same if he keeps this up.

This week, Notre Dame takes on Duke. Hartman has a great opportunity to show that last week was a fluke, and that he’s the real deal. We’re expecting a massive game from him, shattering this over of 244.5 passing yards.
