Chiefs vs. Eagles: 2 Best Bets for Super Bowl LVII

Chiefs vs. Eagles 2 Best Bets for Super Bowl LVII

Need some help betting on Super Bowl LVII? We got your back! Let’s finish the season off in style with 2 best bets for Chiefs vs. Eagles. Good luck!

Kansas City has undoubtedly had the tougher road to the Super Bowl, having to defeat the 4 seeded Jaguars and then the 3 seeded Cincinnati Bengals, who many had believed were going to be representing the AFC here in the Super Bowl.

Injuries have piled up on the Chiefs, with Mahomes still nursing a high ankle sprain, Mecole Hardman out with a pelvic injury, and JuJu Smith-Schuster and Kadarius Toney both being probable with lower body injuries. Mahomes will need to be his magical self, and the Chiefs will need to establish the run with rookie Isaiah Pacheco in order to be successful.

Philly has had the easier road to the big game with games against the 6 seeded Giants and the 2 seeded 49ers, who were without a true QB after Brock Purdy went down early in the 1st quarter. While the road was easy, it should not be overlooked how well this defense continues to play.

They held both teams to just 7 points each and have gotten to the quarterback 8 times in those games. Jalen Hurts has not been exceptional, but he also hasn’t made mistakes to put the defense in a bad position. That could be the recipe they dial up again here in the biggest game of the season.

Best Bet: Eagles -1.5

We believe this game is going to be similar to the previous 2 games the Eagles have played. They have the best cornerbacks and edge rushers which would cause a fully healthy Mahomes and company problems.

Throw in the factor of a banged-up receiving corps and an injured Mahomes, and this one could be a long day for the KC offense. The run game of the Eagles has been consistent and should not have much trouble getting going against this Chiefs front 4.

Key ATS Trends

  • KC is 1-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
  • KC is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS win.
  • Philly is 7-2 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
  • Philly is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight-up win.

Best Bet: UNDER 51

As incredible as both of these offenses have been at times this season, the defenses are what we believe will shine in this one. The Eagles are allowing an average of just 7 points this postseason, while the Chiefs have allowed just 20.

The Chiefs have a very underrated rushing attack and short passing variety that can suck up time on drives and tire out opposing defenses. That is something they will need in order to stay with this Eagles team.

The Eagles’ defense will look to create havoc and continue to make the opposing quarterback look like a D-II player. That is a tall task against the top quarterback in the league but one that this defense should be ready to conquer.

Key Total Trends

  • UNDER is 5-1 in Chiefs last 6 vs. a team with a winning record.
  • UNDER is 4-1 in Chiefs last 5 games overall.
  • UNDER is 4-0 in Eagles last 4 games overall.
  • UNDER is 16-5-1 in Eagles last 22 playoff games.
