Best NFL Player Props for Sunday, December 10
Week 14 of the NFL Season is here. We have been saying it for a few weeks, but this week is especially true. Every single game from this point on matters more than the prior week.
A loss in Week 14 could have significant implications on the postseason, including overall seeding, first-round byes, and playoff exits. There is a lot to look forward to this week, and with several fantastic games taking place on Sunday, we are excited to dive into the nitty-gritty of these matchups.
We have put our top-three player props together for Week 14’s action; all can be found on Underdog. Let’s get after it, and as usual, best of luck to you!
Tyler Conklin UNDER 26.5 Receiving Yards
The New York Jets just put C.J. Uzomah on the IR, which might indicate more receiving work for Tyler Conklin in this game against the Houston Texans. However, Zach Wilson is under center this week for the Jets, much to his personal chagrin and potential vendetta against the organization.
His favorite target this year, by far, has been Garrett Wilson. While Conklin has had a few big games this season, we’re not expecting much from him this week.
He’s a bit banged up at the moment, which is another reason we are taking the under on his receiving yards this week.
Justin Jefferson OVER 5.5 Receptions
This total for one of the best receivers in the NFL is absolutely criminal. Yes, Justin Jefferson has missed several games due to a hamstring injury, but the fact that he plays this week is a positive sign.
The Minnesota Vikings wouldn’t roll him out onto the field unless he were fully healthy, so we are confidently taking the over on this reception line. Jefferson logged at least six receptions in all but one game before his injury, giving us a strong feeling that he’s due for another big performance.
He and Josh Dobbs shouldn’t have a tough time connecting this week en route to what we think should be a sweat-free bet.
Patrick Mahomes OVER 2 Touchdown Passes
If Patrick Mahomes could play every game of his career against the Buffalo Bills, he would probably sign up for that. In the five times he has faced off against them, Mahomes has averaged 307.6 passing yards, thrown at least two touchdowns in each contest, and only thrown for two interceptions.
Both teams are in must-win mode, and we’re expecting this game to be a shootout as a result. The Chiefs desperately need to keep their feet on the gas if they want any chances at a first-round playoff bye, and we’re expecting Mahomes to pull out all of the stops.
We believe he’s in for a big game and could hit the over of two touchdown passes by halftime.
