Best CBB Player Props for Wednesday, February 14: Can Penn State Slow Down Walker?
Happy Wednesday, everyone! If you’re anything like me, you’re probably a bit sad that the NFL season is over. Gone away are those Sundays that are filled with nothing but football and time with family and friends, and now those days are over for several months.
However, if you’re hoping to scratch an itch, either to watch some more meaningful games or to find additional places to bet on player props, we’ve got you covered! With less than a month until March, we know that the Madness is right around the corner. There is plenty of college basketball to catch up on until the fun begins, and there are several awesome games that we’ll be trying to tune into tonight.
To go along with our viewing pleasure, we’ve put together our three favorite player props from tonight’s action, all of which can be found on Underdog. We think we’ve got a good handle on the pulse for these games, so let’s get into it!
PJ Hall OVER 19.5 Points
The Clemson Tigers aren’t necessarily known to be a basketball school, but that hasn’t stopped them from being a great team this year. They have several impressive wins on their resume, including a great victory over UNC last week.
PJ Hall put up 25 points in that commanding win, and we think he’s going to need to have another big game to help beat the Miami Hurricanes tonight. We’re going to hammer his over in this spot.
Dalton Knecht OVER 22.5 Points
Coming into the season, Dalton Knecht was identified as one of the top players in the country. He has largely delivered on his preseason hype, as is the nation’s 26th-highest scorer on the year, and a big reason why the Tennesee Vols are 17-6 on the season.
With this in mind, we love his odds of scoring at least 23 points against Arkansas tonight, especially since they allow over 77 PPG on the year. Look for him to get hot early, hopefully hitting this line with plenty of wiggle room.
Tyson Walker UNDER 4 Assists
We were a bit surprised to see Tyson Walker’s assist line so high. He has only achieved more than four assists on five occasions this season, leading us to believe that it’s not a common occurrence for the Michigan State star.
Penn State might be a leaky defense, but we’re not willing to bet that tonight will be the game where he breaks out, taking the under on this line of four assists.
Tristen Newton OVER 6.5 Rebounds
Tristen Newton has been a beast on the boards for UConn all year. The 6’5” guard has been a force to be reckoned with all season, a major reason why this team is ranked No. 1 in the nation.
He cannot be stopped, and there’s a decent chance he hits this line by halftime against DePaul, who allow their opponents 37 rebounds per game, one of the worst marks in the NCAA.
