Having been a player on the platform since its earliest days in March 2020, a few things make it one of my favorite DFS platforms. You might not agree with all of these, but everyone loves Underdog for their own reasons.
Underdog is not just fantasy anymore. Underdog Predict is a real-money prediction market built into the same app, where you trade yes/no contracts on sports outcomes instead of picking player stats. It runs on Underdog’s own CFTC-regulated exchange, UDX, which Underdog took over when it acquired Aristotle Exchange in March 2026, and a registered broker, UDM LLC, handles the accounts. Some contracts still route to outside exchanges such as Kalshi.
Each contract is priced from $0.01 to $0.99 and pays $1.00 if you are right, so a contract at 60 cents implies a 60% chance. You can trade game winners, spreads and totals across the NFL, college football, the NBA, MLB, the NHL, soccer, tennis and more, along with season-long futures. Underdog also offers prediction parlays and combo entries that let you mix Predict contracts with fantasy Pick’em picks, which is something no other prediction market app can do.
New users do not get a separate Predict bonus. Underdog gives eligible new players a choice of one welcome offer: Play $5 and Get $100 in bonus entries, a 50% first-deposit match up to $1,000, or five free Rips packs. Underdog Rips is a separate product inside the Underdog app, added in late August 2026. You buy a digital pack, and it reveals one real sports trading card that is stored in a secure vault. The card can be an NBA, NFL or MLB card, either raw or graded in a slab by PSA, BGS, CGC or SGC. Rips is in the Games section of the app and is app-only. It is not part of Underdog Predict, and it is not a sweepstakes casino.
Packs come in five tiers, from the $5 Starter pack up to the $2,500 GOAT pack, and the lineup and inventory change often. Before you buy, each pack page shows the odds by tier, the most valuable cards in the pack and recent pulls, and the odds update as inventory sells.
