NFL Week 17: Top Player Props for Sunday, December 29: Irving Should Smoke Carolina’s Rush D!
With two weeks remaining in the NFL season, keep riding the hot hands and feet of young stars Jordan Addison and Bucky Irving as they look to solidify their playoff positioning this Sunday. Check out our player props card for Week 17 below! Good luck!
RB Rico Dowdle (DAL) OVER 2.5 Receptions
With CeeDee Lamb out of this matchup, Rico Dowdle is due to see more receiving work against the Eagles on Sunday. After the Philly defense allowed a massive outing to Jayden Daniels and the Commanders last week, expect Dallas to utilize the backfield and tight ends to get this offense off to a quick start.
Dowdle is no stranger to getting involved in the Dallas receiving game, catching 3 or more passes in five of eight games since the ‘Boys bye week.
RB Bucky Irving (TB) OVER 80.5 Rush Yards
Bucky Irving is a budding star and what better of a matchup to have for the rookie than the Panthers as we end the season? Irving has a chance to reach the 1,000-rush yard marker in this game against a Carolina defense that allowed 117 rush yards to James Conner last week – in about 3 quarters.
Irving went for 152 rush yards against the Panthers last time these teams met and, in a game where Tampa should be able to stay in front, the game script should be more than enough to give Bucky 20+ carries.
RB De’Von Achane (MIA) UNDER 99.5 Total Yards
With the Cleveland weather mixed with playoff aspirations slipping away from the Dolphins at a rapid rate, De’Von Achane’s total yard prop is a scary one this Sunday.
While he secured a 100-yard game last week with a 50-yard TD run to cap off the Miami win, Achane had four straight games with under 100 total yards coming into that Week 16 game. Cleveland’s defense should give Miami some trouble in what is bound to stay a low scoring affair.
WR Jordan Addison (MIN) OVER 4.5 Receptions
Jordan Addison is heating up and it is time to capitalize on the Vikings WR2. The 2nd-year wideout has gone for 5+ catches in three straight outings, while Sam Darnold has found Addison for seven touchdowns in the last eight weeks.
While the Packers defense will key in on Justin Jefferson (6-85-1; 5-59-0; 1-15-0 over last three against Green Bay), Jordan Addison should be able to become Darnold’s top target in this massive divisional matchup.
