5 of the Best Player Prop Picks for Super Bowl LIX

Super Bowl LIX is set to be a thriller, and the player prop markets are loaded with value. Here are five of the best bets featuring Mahomes, Hurts, Kelce, and more.
A.J. Brown is one of the best Super Bowl prop bets for an anytime touchdown

Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles is going to unleash some fireworks tomorrow night and with stars like Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts headlining the game, the player prop markets offer some of their own great value.

To help you make the most of the biggest game of the year, we’re breaking down 5 of the best Super Bowl player prop picks you’ll want on your bet slip for Sunday’s matchup.

Player Prop Bet Odds
Isaiah Pacheco Over 5.5 Rushing Attempts -136
Jalen Hurts Under 0.5 Interceptions -160
Patrick Mahomes Over 252.5 Passing Yards -111
Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown Scorer +135
A.J. Brown Anytime Touchdown Scorer +170

Isaiah Pacheco Over 5.5 Rushing Attempts

  • Player Prop Odds: -136

Isaiah Pacheco has been Kansas City’s most consistent rushing threat. On top of that, he’s been heavily utilized against NFC teams and we think it’ll be no different against the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.

In fact, Pacheco has recorded 8 or more rushing attempts in each of his last 12 games against NFC opponents which is just insane. While the Chiefs lean heavily on Mahomes’ arm for the most part, Pacheco is their best bet to keep Philadelphia’s fierce pass rush honest and they’ll need that if they want to survive for a full 60 minutes.

The Eagles have struggled at times against the run, though they’re not terrible. If Kansas City builds any early momentum, Pacheco should see plenty of action as the Chiefs look to control the clock.

Even if the game script turns pass-heavy late, 6 carries for Pacheco seems like a very low bar to pass for someone so integral to balancing the offense.

Jalen Hurts Under 0.5 Interceptions

  • Player Prop Odds: -160

Betting on interceptions can always be a gamble, but Jalen Hurts has been incredibly protective of the football this season, throwing just 5 interceptions in 18 games.

Impressively, Hurts hasn’t thrown a single pick in his last 9 straight starts, including 3 playoff games against some of the best secondaries in the league.

Kansas City’s secondary, while nonetheless opportunistic, will face a tough test against Philadelphia’s strong offensive line and Hurts’ dominant mobility. The Eagles are likely to prioritize the run game with Saquon Barkley leading the charge and Hurts scrambling as well which will reduce Hurts’ chances of putting the ball in harm’s way.

With Philadelphia also emphasizing high-percentage throws to A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, both of who knows how to create space in the secondary, Hurts is a solid bet to keep a clean sheet again. It’s not the best odds, but it’s one of the best Super Bowl prop picks if you want to build that bankroll.

Patrick Mahomes Over 252.5 Passing Yards

  • Player Prop Odds: -111

Patrick Mahomes thrives on the Super Bowl stage. After all, he has the most Super Bowl experience of anyone on the field. He’s averaging 283.8 passing yards across 4 career appearances so it’s safe to say he doesn’t feel the pressure like some of the other QBs that have made it this far.

Of course, he faces a daunting Philadelphia defense, but Mahomes is no stranger to overcoming adversity. This is evidenced by his ability to rally from double-digit deficits in past Super Bowls. When he turns on his passing game, he gets big chunk plays and has the tools to do it.

While Philadelphia’s pass rush is nothing less than elite, Mahomes’ quick release and ability to extend plays make him difficult to contain for even the best defenses.

Travis Kelce remains his security blanket, and the Chiefs will likely rely on Mahomes to push the ball downfield to keep pace with the Eagle’s offense. We’re thinking this game could be a shootout and with the over/under at 48.5 points, even the bookmakers are thinking he’s going to air it out a lot.

His average of 241.7 passing yards per game this season tells us he’ll have plenty of opportunities to hit this number in a high-stakes matchup.

Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown Scorer

  • Player Prop Odds: +135

Anytime TD scorers are a tough bet, but this isn’t that. When it comes to the Chiefs’ offense, Travis Kelce is undeniably Mahomes’ most trusted target. Kelce has been an absolute touchdown machine in the postseason, with 15 career playoff touchdowns in 18 games, including 3 this year alone.

We’re not going to sugarcoat this, the Eagles’ defense ranks among the best in the league. However, they’ve been vulnerable to TEs in the red zone and Kelce is one of the best ever. Kelce’s knack for finding soft spots in shallow coverage and Mahomes’ willingness to target him in key situations make this one of the best plus-money plays on the table.

We expect Mahomes to look for Kelce in high-leverage situations, particularly in the red zone. He’ll probably add 6 on to the scoreboard with an 8-yard pass.

A.J. Brown Anytime Touchdown Scorer

  • Player Prop Odds: +170

We already mentioned this will be a shootout, so it goes without saying there are going to be more TD scorers in this game.

A.J. Brown has been a force for the Eagles this season, leading the team with a whopping 1,079 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns. While the Chiefs boast an aggressive defense, their secondary can be exploited by elite wideouts, which is where Brown finds himself.

Brown’s combination of size and speed makes him a nightmare matchup. This is especially true in one-on-one situations. With Hurts’ deep ball accuracy and Brown’s ability to create space and win contested catches, the Eagles will likely target him in the end zone more than once. At +170, we love this bet and it brings some great value for a player with a strong chance of finding the paint.
