3 College Football Player Props for Saturday, September 28: How Will Moss Fare Against Wisconsin?
Happy Friday, y’all! This is truly the greatest time of year to be a sports fan, and we couldn’t be happier with how every league is shaping up. The NFL has been pure chaos, the MLB playoff teams are going to come down to the wire, and college football, of course, is madness.
If you’re a fan of any or all of those leagues, you’re probably having as good of a time as us. With that in mind, there’s a lot of action going down this weekend, but we wanted to take some dedicated time to talk about our favorite college football player props from Underdog.
After seeing how the season has unfolded to this point, we’re as confident as ever in our picks, so let’s dive right in!
Dylan Raiola (Nebraska) OVER 1.5 Passing TDs
Nebraska might have lost a brutal game to Illinois last week, but we still have all the faith in the world in Dylan Raiola. He looks like a mini-Patrick Mahomes, whether it’s his playstyle, hair, or any number of the other reasons he resembles the future Hall of Famer.
He is one of the most electrifying players in college football, and everyone is excited to see what the kid can do moving forward. With that being said, we’re extremely excited to take the over on his passing touchdown line against Purdue this week.
Purdue has a great defense, but with the way Raiola is playing right now, we’re going to take the over on this line until further notice.
Ollie Gordon II (Oklahoma State) UNDER 79.5 Rushing Yards
Run, don’t walk to Underdog to take this prop. Seriously! Ollie Gordon was a beast last year, but he’s only had one game over 100 yards this season.
His rushing production in the Oklahoma State offense isn’t what the team would like, and because K-State only gives up 99 rushing yards per game, we aren’t excited to take the over on his prop.
With all that in mind, confidently take the under in this spot. We have to see it to believe it from Gordon, and right now, his stats just aren’t there.
Miller Moss (USC) UNDER 298.5 Passing Yards
Don’t get us wrong with this pick. We like Miller Moss, a lot, and we have faith that USC is going to slaughter the Badgers. The Badgers are coming off an atrocious loss to Alabama, and USC is out for blood after their narrow loss to Michigan last week.
With all of that said a superhero effort from Moss will not likely be needed, especially since the Badgers have a poor offense that should get stifled early and often.
Plus, despite all the Badgers’ faults, they only allow 183.5 passing yards per game, another reason to take the under on Moss’ line.
