2024 College Football Preview: 4 SEC Win Totals to Play Today

2024 College Football 4 SEC Win Totals to Play Today

The 2024 college football season is right around the corner, and we’re fired up and ready to roll. Today, our preview piece features 4 season win total bets from the mighty SEC. Check them out below!

Texas A&M Aggies UNDER 8.5 Wins

New coach Mike Elko is in from Duke and will have Connor Weigman back at starting QB after being lost for the season last year due to injury. He will have a good crop of receivers including tight end Donovan Green who will also be back from injury.

On defense, they will have a strong returning front line. Nic Scourton is in from Purdue after leading the Big 10 in tackles. They have questions at linebacker and cornerback. The schedule is tough with Notre Dame, LSU, and Texas all coming to Kyle Field. The Under is the way to go here!

Auburn Tigers OVER 7.5 Wins

Hugh Freeze enters his 2nd season at Auburn. Payton Thorne is back and will have more weapons than last year. After averaging 162.2ypg passing last season, it will be hard for them not to do a bit better.

There is a good crop of freshmen coming in and Freeze also added KeAndre Lambert-Smith from Penn State. They will also have their entire running back room intact from last season which averaged nearly 200ypg last season.

DJ Durkin was brough in to improve the defense after Ron Roberts was let go last season. They lost a good number of guys to the NFL and have tried to replenish through the transfer portal. It will be interesting to see if they can all live up to the expectations.

Kentucky Wildcats OVER 6.5 Wins

Kentucky’s offense will be led by former Georgia transfer Brock Vandagriff. A once 5-star recruit, Vandagriff will have both Dane Key and Barion Brown on the outside who are returning.

DeaMonte Trayanum will be the top back as he transferred in from OSU. The defense was one of the best against the run last season.

They return top run-stuffer, Deone Walker, who is slated to be a top NFL pick next draft. The secondary has some talent as well and as long as they can keep teams to being one dimensional, they have a good chance to exceed their short number here.

Florida Gators UNDER 4.5 Wins

Billy Napier is fully on the hotseat. His 11-14 record through his 1st two seasons makes it easy for folks to put him there. He does have QB Graham Mertz back to run the offense. He was extremely efficient but has lost his top receiver in Ricky Pearsall to the draft.

Montrell Johnson Jr will be the lead back after Etienne transferred out. The line was weak and will need to be improved to help Napier save his job. The defense needs to be better as well.

They allowed an average of 38.2ppg last season down the stretch and caused Napier to release some top members of his staff. The portal was Napier’s tool to get more talent on the defense and will be tasked with keeping the opposition from lighting up the scoreboard this season.
