FantasyDraft, LLC is based in Cornelius, North Carolina just outside of Charlotte near Lake Norman.

Co-founders Grant Yoder and Stephen Krombolz are behind the daily fantasy sports start-up. Additionally, key investors include Robert Stevanovski and The Jordan Company.

Also of note, a few former NFL and current NFL players have associated themselves with the FantasyDraft brand. From our findings, these include London Fletcher, Clayton Kershaw, Drew Brees, Shannon Sharpe, Jordy Nelson, T.Y. Hilton, Andy Dalton, Tony Parker, Chris Bosh, Boomer Esiason and Jimmy Johnson.

From it’s inception, FantasyDraft has been known as platform that goes above and beyond to cater to players. Frankly, it’s quite rare in this industry to have ‘straight shooters’ running the show and it’s something that we love to see.

There’s no hidden history or shady past attached to FantasyDraft. They’re simply a solid daily fantasy sports platform that features amazingly low rake and contests with large ‘payout zones’.

Even more incredibly, FantasyDraft is solely responsible for saving bankrupt Fantasy Ace’s player pool. Without FantasyDraft’s intervention, thousands of Fantasy Ace players would have lost their account funds. It’s moves like this and the people that FantasyDraft has brought onto it’s team that we absolutely love.

FantasyDraft Review of Contest Types

Unlike some other daily fantasy sports platforms, FantasyDraft isn’t known for having a ridiculous amount of contest types. They keep there selection pretty basic, which is totally fine for most users.

FantasyDraft will always have ‘Featured’ contests along with 50/50s, Head to Heads, Multipliers, Qualifiers and VIP contests.

Notably, you can filter contest types by a number of different variables including but not limited to Entry Fee and Field Size.

FantasyDraft Review of Entry Limits

Again, FantasyDraft at this point in time doesn’t have an enormous base of players. Therefore, you won’t necessarily run into giant – millionaire maker – 300 entry limit contests.

Instead, you’ll be introduced to steady, while some large paying, mostly in the 5 range of entry limits with a max around 20.

fantasydraft review of player pricing and team budgets

FantasyDraft Review of Player Pricing / Team Budget

Many daily fantasy sports platforms utilize a $50,000 team budget to build lineups with.

When it comes to FantasyDraft, you’ll be dealing with a $100,000 budget which doesn’t make the math for data and model research too difficult to calculate.

fantasydraft review of platform ui and ux

FantasyDraft Review of Platform / App UI & UX

When compared to the leaders in the industry such as Fanduel, Draftkings and Draft, FantasyDraft comes a little short in terms of overall platform design and functionality.

However, for a start-up, FantasyDraft is an extremely solid platform both on desktop and mobile. Additionally, they have a native app, making utilizing their platform that much better and innovative.
