College Football Week 10 DFS Picks

College Football Week 10 DFS Picks

The 11-game main slate on DraftKings includes one marquee matchup, Florida a 6-point home dog against Georgia. FanDuel’s main slate is down from 16 games last week to 15 games this week. They add the SMU @ Memphis game, with a total of 72 and Memphis a 6 point home favorite. Both slates look challenging, but we have identified a handful of players we are targeting in our week 10 college football lineups.

Week 10 DraftKings and FanDuel CFB Picks

This slate has a very similar feel to last week’s, where we ended up chasing the best player in the slate (Jalen Hurts), then plugging in value around him with middle of the pack guys like Cam Scarlett, Pat Freiermuth, Breece Hall and Deshaunte Jones. I’m going to take a similar approach to this slate, grabbing the top few players, then plugging in solid, volume plays around them. Sample lineups are below the picks.

Khalil Tate

DraftKings Salary – $7,100 | FanDuel Salary – $–
As I mentioned earlier, anytime we get into one of these tougher slates, we love to pay up for the top players. Clearly Tate has the highest ceiling this week given the matchup and his recent form. Oregon State is 95th in the country in yards allowed per game, and Tate comes in having scored 30+ points in 4 out of his 6 full games this season.

Shea Patterson

DraftKings Salary – $6,300 | FanDuel Salary – $8,300
While Michigan looks like they should be able to name their number against Maryland, be it on the ground or through the air, we think they will use this matchup as a chance to get Patterson on a roll as they head down the stretch of their season. Maryland gives up just under 500 yards per game, and are the 2nd most favorable QB matchup in this slate.

AJ Dillon

DraftKings Salary – $7,800 | FanDuel Salary – $9,500
This AJ Dillon pick is all about finding volume in a favorable matchup. Dillon literally is the Boston College offense right now. He is averaging 25 carries per game, and should go over that in what should be a competitive game. The BC defense is leaky in their own right, but Syracuse gives up 4.7 YPC and gave up 46.5 DraftKings points to Cam Akers last week.

Artavis Pierce

DraftKings Salary – $5,900 | FanDuel Salary – $–
Another high volume RB in a favorable matchup, Pierce started the season slow, but has averaged over 20 touches per game over the past month. He faces an Arizona defense that is allowing 173 rushing yards per game.

Hassan Haskins

DraftKings Salary – $4,000 | FanDuel Salary – $6,400
Haskins has quietly taken over the lead-back role for the Wolverines, and has looked explosive in doing so. Whether by design or just accident, Charbonnet has been the power back, but it’s Haskins that has provided the juice in this offense over the past few weeks. After going for nearly 150 yards against Notre Dame, this Maryland defense should offer little resistance to Haskins and the Michigan offense.

Gabriel Davis

DraftKings Salary – $7,600 | FanDuel Salary – $9,600
Again, when scoring is at a premium, which it should be in this slate, I like to take a shot on high ceiling guys in games with high totals. No game in this slate has a higher total than the UCF game this week, and no player in the game has a higher ceiling than GD, who has gone over 33 DraftKings points in 3 out of the last 4 weeks.

Trishton Jackson

DraftKings Salary – $6,700 | FanDuel Salary – $8,500
As far as volume receivers in favorable matchups goes, Trishton Jackson is clearly the guy to target in this slate. Boston College has the worst secondary in this Week 10 group, and Jackson is seeing double-digit targets every week for Syracuse.

Wan’Dale Robinson

DraftKings Salary – $5,900 | FanDuel Salary – $8,500
Frost compared Robinson Rondale Moore this past week, and I don’t think the comparison is that much of a stretch. Robinson is clearly a game changing, undersized, wide receiver, that can cause defenses fits. Frost has clearly figured out how to get Robinson involved, as he has gone over 27 DraftKings points in 2 of his last 3 games after being relatively quiet all season.

Taye Barber

DraftKings Salary – $4,300 | FanDuel Salary – $6,300
He may be small, he may be cheap, but Taye Barber is not to be overlooked in this slate. Barber’s fantasy output has improved each week since his return, and he is officially our favorite value play in this week 10 slate. Obviously he hasn’t reached the end zone yet in 2019, but that could change against a beatable OK State defense.

Week 10 FanDuel and DraftKings CFB Lineups

We took our picks to the streets and built a lineup for the main slate on both FanDuel and DraftKings. Obviously this represents just one of a limitless variety of lineups you can build with this core group of players.
